Insiders revealed that Beatrice, 31, and Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 36, will marry on May 29, with a reception at Buckingham Palace but no venue for the ceremony has been confirmed.

I hope that this is the date and that the couple can be married this spring before the annual June royal events.

I feel badly for  Beatrice and Edo. They must be very frustrated by now.

^ Why?  If they wanted to be married without the pomp there is always the local Registry Office.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me

That's only 3 months from now. May will be here before you know it, I'm sure she'll have a nice wedding.

But why should she have to settle for a registry office wedding when she hasn't done anything wrong?  Her venue and date have been left up in the air when her relatives have all had lovely weddings - no bride would be happy about that, and she can't have a wedding abroad because she would not snub her grandparents that way. I definitely feel for her.

There was controversy about Eugenie's weddign, costs etc and back then Andrew's scandal had not hit the heighs that it did last year.  Its hard on Bea, but it will look bad if she has a flashy wedding and im sure she doesn't want any embarrassment for herself if Andrew is givng her away...

The reception will be at Buckingham Palace.  Whatever flashy costs, it's being taken care by the Queen's purse.

They just need to make sure no taxpayer money is spent in security.

Rumour is a garden chapel wedding in the same grounds of BP or the The Guards Chapel, a couple of hundred yards from BP.

It?ll be a spring wedding for Princess Beatrice and her fianc? Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi!
PEOPLE has confirmed that Beatrice, 31, and Mozzi, 36, will tie the knot on May 29. The location of the ceremony has yet to be revealed. Buckingham Palace is expected to make an announcement in the coming days.
The reception will take place at Buckingham Palace. According to insiders, the ceremony service could be close by ? somewhere like the Royal Military Chapel, known as the Guards Chapel, which is a church located across the road from the palace.
Prince William and Kate Middleton also held their wedding reception at Buckingham Palace following their royal wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011.
Unlike Kate, Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie?s royal weddings, Beatrice?s nuptials will be a ?low-key? affair,? says a source, which is what the couple has always wanted.

Is this the church where Princess Beatrice will get married? ? Royal Central
QuoteIt?s hosted dazzling and trend setting royal weddings before and while it traces its history back to pre Conquest times, the current building on the site is a Tudor creation with plenty of tales to tell. It also has a special link to Lord Louis Mountbatten, the beloved uncle of Beatrice?s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh. So is this royal bride set to wed at St. Margaret?s Church, Westminster?

If she did say ?I do? there, she would be following in Lord Mountbatten?s footsteps for it was in St. Margaret?s, almost exactly 100 years ago, that he married Edwina Ashley, one of the most famous socialites of the day. The couple, who sped to the altar after a whirlwind romance, took their vows on July 18th 1922 in front of a congregation packed with royals and celebrities . Louis Mountbatten might not have been a royal (he lost his princely status in 1917 when King George V gave up all German titles on behalf of his whole family) but this was the wedding of the year. The Prince of Wales, later Edward VIII, was best man while crowds thousands strong lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the bride who was dressed in fashionable silver for her big day.

Decades later, it was the setting for another much talked about royal wedding. The Queen?s nephew, David Armstrong-Jones, wed Serena Stanhope at St. Margaret?s on October 8th 1993. The bride wore a pure white gown inspired by the famous marriage outfit of her new mother-in-law, Princess Margaret, while there was huge interest in the guest list as Diana, Princess of Wales took her seat in the pews just months after her separation from Prince Charles. The now Earl and Countess of Snowdon left St. Margaret?s to cheers from another big crowd.

The church is nestled in the heart of Westminster. It sits on Parliament Square, next to Westminster Abbey, and the two buildings have a lot in common. It was founded by Benedictine monks in the 12th century as a place for local people to come and worship so that they could carry out their religious duties in the Abbey without interruption. It was dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch who was a hugely popular figure of veneration at the time.

Could the venue be St. Margaret's Westminster? It is a historic site, centrally located and has been the venue for the weddings of other members of the extended BRF.

The wedding of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi

Published 7 February 2020
The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29 May 2020. The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.

Her Majesty The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James?s Palace.

The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

The Chapel Royal

The location for many Royal weddings and christenings the Chapel Royal, situated within the grounds of St James's Palace, is a busy working chapel. The Chapel holds regular services which are open to the general public, as well as hosting some unique Royal services.

Many Royal weddings have taken place in the Chapel, including that of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg on 10 February 1840. In 1893 the then Duke of York and Princess Victoria Mary of Teck (later King George V and Queen Mary) were married in the Chapel

Finally! I don't believe the Chapel holds many people, but they should be pleased with both of these venues, no matter how many guests are invited. Happy it's settled!!!

The Chapel Royal | The Royal Family-Estimates on seating would be about 100 guests.

In 2013 and 2018 it  was the venue for the christenings of Prince George and Prince Louis.

It will have to be bright and cheery arrangements of colour to lighten up that old place. (And the Chapel is on the small side.) I've always thought St James's is one of the few BRF palaces that looks as if it could well be haunted! The other's Holyrood.
