Lady Gabriella Windsor?s Wedding Dress: romance along classic lines ? Royal Central

Quotehat romantic touch was dominant in Lady Gabriella?s gown which was made of tulle and organdie, layered to create a subtle blush effect on the gown. The shaped bodice was covered with a layer of lace, covered with floral embellishments, which was styled into a boat neck and long sleeves designed to give a glove effect.

The bride also wore the Kent Fringe Tiara which had been worn by her mother Princess Michael and paternal aunt, Princess Alexandra of Kent.

IMO Lady Gabriella's dress is similar to Princess Alexandra's style from 1963.

Absolutely a fabulous wedding, the bride is so beautiful and I love her gown the best of all I have seen. It was soft, romantic, and flowing.  No sharp edges, no modern twists nor plain and simple, just a fairy tale gown for a beautiful lady.  And best of all from what I have read about the wedding, NO Hollywood, no Oprah,, no George, No Gail King wanting her 2 cents in front of a camera......now this was dignified and just full of family celebrating a member's happiness. That is how a wedding should be.

It was good to see the Duke of E.!  After so many months of not seeing him he has attended a few events lately, and he looks great. I kept trying to figure out what it is about him that makes him look great, and I think it is that he seems to be happy. He's smiling and chatting a lot. I'm sure I don't know why, but it's wonderful to see.
