An unexpected wedding gift from the good folks at Hidden Valley Salad Dressing.

Hidden Valley giving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle $35G bottle of ranch and you can win one, too - Story | WFLD

QuoteHidden Valley announced it will be giving away two special-edition bottles of the creamy white dressing. One bottle will go to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a wedding present and the other will go to a randomly selected contest winner.

This isn?t some ordinary bottle of ranch, however. Designed by an ?A-list celebrity jeweler,? this 18-carat white gold bottle trimmed in 75 carats of diamonds and sapphires is worth $35,000. This swanky bottle was created to honor "the great pairing of a fellow famous American with British royalty? and ?remind her of the familiar flavors of her home country," Delish reports.

@Izabella-Now if you were the winner of the second bottle would you use it, display it or sell it?  :D

I sincerely hope that Tom Markle will be present and able to escort his daughter down the aisle. The only reason that I believe would prevent him from doing so would be a health issue.

Trumpet maker reveals brass that will herald Prince Harry and Meghan | Daily Mail Online

QuoteThese images offer a look inside the workshop where craftsmen are carefully constructing fanfare trumpets to be used at the royal wedding.

Richard Smith, 57, co-founder of brass instrument manufacturer Smith-Watkins, told how he was commissioned by the Ministry of Defence to create 20 state fanfare trumpets for a number of state and royal occasions.

While the use of the trumpets has not yet been revealed, Mr Smith - who crafted the trumpets for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2012 - thinks it is highly likely they will be for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials on May 19.

@Curryong-How reliable is the "Morning Show" in Australia? They're now claiming that Tom Sr. is too ill to travel to London for the upcoming wedding due to high blood pressure.

Well, 'The Morning Show' is just a light and bubbly TV show that is on in the mornings! It sometimes reports serious stuff, sometimes not. It depends where this journo is getting her information from, I suppose.

This stuff about Tom not being able to go to London due to health issues, has been swirling for about a week, hasn't it, along with William taking his place giving Meghan away? It's not the sort of thing KP comments on, so I suppose we will have to wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised. He is significantly overweight and probably also has 'stage fright'. It will be a shame, but it's not the end of the world. I'm sure Doria will do the honours if she has to.

It's rather weird for me because when I married in Australia (the first wedding) my dad wasn't able to come over and so my fiance's father did the honours. He had three daughters of his own but significantly none of them ended up marrying. So that was his one and only shot at 'giving the bride away'!

If it's true about Tom and Doria doesn't want to do it I don't see why Charles couldn't, actually. He gave a bride  away last year didn't he, Penny Romsey's daughter, because of the family situation there?  I think that would be better than depriving Harry of his brother as supporter on one of the most important days of his life.

I would love to see Doria do it. She raised Meghan & it would be a twist to all the outdated rituals that are the BRF.

Thank you for your reply @Curryong. Hopefully this is just speculation though after looking at Tom Sr. I can see that it is possible that his physician might believe that a long flight from either the U.S. or Mexico might be more than Tom's body can safely handle ie: Deep Vein Thrombosis. I agree that Charles would also be an excellent choice to lead Meghan to the altar if Doria is not tasked to do so. z(This might be a wedding tradition that HM has the last word upon.)  IMO Charles seems like a more natural fit as he's closer in age to Tom Sr. and there have been a couple of 20th century royal weddings in which the bride had another male family member stand in for her deceased father: Princess Margaret- the DoE and Princess Alexandra-the Duke of Kent. And as you pointed out, William will be already acting as Harry's supporter for the wedding day.

If he doesn't show up, the DM and public will believe first in banished. He has no problem buying alcohol, cigarettes, pizzas, crisps...and drinking, smoking whilst at it.

TLLK

^^^Yes health issues that would be seriously aggravated by a long distance flight,  would play a major role in whether or not he attends the wedding.

wannable

Kritter

How would anyone know that? He has followed Sophie's Dad as an example of how to mind his own business & remain private.

I don't think he has nothing serious health wise.
While I've only seen photos of Tom Sr. IMO the man does not look healthy : obesity, coloring.

wannable

Kritter

It is his life & he can buy whatever he wants. Many people do not always do what is best for themselves. His choice & not Meghan's.

wannable

Correct, playing devils advocate, only hoping IF he is a no show, KP gives a excuse minus health. The barrage of articles in the UK accompanied by smoking and drinking pictures will not be compassionate.

If it's a mental health issue, Harry should put in practice a cheerleading Heads Together campaign, it's not yet late to get the man physically and mentally for the aisle. He and she have the money to mobilize the man and get the best of the best treatment.

The excuse of pride, accept the love return. An excuse for mental health, family severe dysfunction at its height.

Kritter

What are you talking about? We don't even know if he will miss the wedding.

wannable

Hence the IF...

These latest stories of Tom Sr. Reminds me of what @FanDianaFancy said a few days ago in reference to a low profile marriage preferably, but the couple wants contrary to that, hence the public circus via reports. It will be inevitable the dysfunctional family set the bride has and not only articles but books will be mentioning it for posterity.

At the moment of this week's alleged news, believe me there are investigative journalists seeking medical or clinical reports.  Meghan is gold for this type of tabloid fodder.

TLLK

Yes I agree @wannable that he should give both up as neither are likely to be recommended by his doctor.

wannable

By a blabbing Doctor,nSecretary, best friend. Who won't be the first.

Kritter

And give Tom the right to sue them for all they are worth plus the criminal charges they will face.   :eyes:  I don't think so.

Curryong

My bet is that if Tom isn't there then Doria or Charles will take Meghan down the aisle. They'd do a superb job and it will be great.

I also believe that the wedding venue was chosen by Charles, who also wished to marry there until he was persuaded otherwise by the Archbisop of Canterbury and other advisers. And why should it be a discreet little private wedding? Harry's the son of the heir to the throne and it's his first wedding. Harry wasn't involved in the dissolution of Meghan's first marriage. Why do the couple have to behave as if their union is something to be ashamed of?

If Felipe of Spain can marry Letizia (whose first marriage was also dissolved) in a cathedral in a Roman Catholic country then Harry can certainly marry at St George's. I have no doubt that the thought of the Guildhall or some registry office for Harry never crossed the Queen or Charles's mind.

Samantha Markle has shut up and made her Twitter Page private. No doubt she's received tons of abuse in the past month and now knows there's absolutely no chance of her going to this wedding. Tom Jnr has also shut his trap, ditto, and I doubt that either will be commenting too much more, except perhaps on the wedding day. Samantha kept flogging a book that she hoped would be published, which she said was pro-Meghan anyway, but she doesn't appear to have any publishing deal. And her credibility is shot, anyway.

wannable

Who knows some Rosarito person in dire for money.

I do hope he goes though.
