Prince Edward to visit Somerset

On Monday 9th June the Prince will be visiting the charity's seafront headquarters where he will meet crew members and see the charity's two life-saving hovercraft and inshore rescue boat.

His Royal Highness will hear all about the charity's work during the recent Winter flooding's on the Somerset Levels. They will also show the Prince plans they have in order to further develop the charity.

The visit was finalised by the Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Lady Gass, last week when she visited Burnham.
