QuoteFewer royals on duty, with just as many engagements to carry out will result in a larger work load on Harry

I think the Prince will find his dream of a scaled down monarchy not practical. Why push royal duties on a few people when there are other relatives who could take on some of the work. William seems reluctant now to go full time and Kate is not the hardest worker. The Queen is still the monarch and should encourage the younger ones to pitch in and work. Charles is not the monarch now.

Poor Harry, they will milk him dry as his lazy brother and wife do the minimum they have to and then he will be cast aside to fend for himself when William's children are old enough but he is too old to start anew.  <_<
"You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked 'female'." He is in the military full time (royal stuff aside) :blank:

Harry will have to leave the military earlier rather than later - e.g. Andrew had 20 years but I don't think Harry will get 20 years.

He will then do royal duties for the rest of his life.

The reducing th size of the royal family has never been confirmed and is based on one comment made about 20 years ago and been repeated so often as to have become gospel.

However that being said it is clear that Harry and his spouse will be full-time royals for the majority of their lives as is now the case for all of Charles siblings who will also work full-time for the rest of their lives.

The difference is that Beatrice and Eugenie won't be working royals and nor will Harry's kids.
