Maximum file size for avatars

From today the maximum file size for avatars on the forum is 10,000 bytes.

Some avatars on the forum have larger file sizes and will mean that the page takes a long to open for members with 56K modems. You can see the file size of your avatar by right-clicking on your avatar in the forum and then clicking Properties.

Images can be edited on your PC by right-clicking on the file-name in your own PC and opening it with a photo editor such as Windows Photo Editor.

Mods and admin members are authorised to delete avatars which have file sizes over 10,000 bytes.
