I think Diana's brother will have to do some deep soul searching and resolve his personal demons, they do seem to be causing him many problems in his personal life.

It makes me wonder that bearing in mind he and Diana were the two youngest when their parents divorced it was they who were most affected by it.

I have thought of that. It also sounds like the divorce was a particularly difficult one.
