Anyone at all interested in this woman?  I've read a biog or 2 in recnet years and she seems intertesing but appalling..

It was against the advice of Axel Oxenstierna, Lord High Chancellor of Sweden that Queen Christina initiated the end of the Thirty Years War culminating with the Peace of Westphalia in 1648.

Until Queen Christina was eighteen, Sweden was ruled by five regents handpicked by her late father. The regents hoped that Christina would marry before reaching maturity, so that her husband could rule if not through her, then at least alongside her.
