I was browsing through a bookstore this morning and came across a small volume perhaps some of you have read; "Doomed Queens," by Kris Waldherr.

I immediately thumbed to the back and found a two page write up on Diana.  It gave the basics of her public life.  I was gratified to see the author refer to her as (paraphrasing) Charles's broodmare.  That has always been my opinion.  But the passage that really caught my eye was the one line message of advice at the end of the chapter:

QuoteAvoid men with cameras and Camillas
Amen!

Mark Twain:
"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."
and
"Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please."

That sums it all up just right. :lmao3: :lmao3:

"Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfills the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things."
