The entire Board of Trustees quit, including both white and coloured South Africans, because of disagreements with this quite new Chair Person. She immediately went to the High Court to get an injunction to prevent her being fired. There has been infighting for a long time since this Chair was appointed and the Trustees wanted her gone.

Both Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho were co-founders of this charity when Harry was just a teen. It was named in memory of their dead mothers. Both Princes, as Patrons, stated they were heartbroken over their decision but felt it necessary to support the Trustees. Sentebale has always been close to Harry's heart and it was due to him and his donations from his polo matches etc that help with AIDS treatments, education, building doctors' surgeries etc was forthcoming for years.

The two Princes are Patrons not Trustees and the High Court may be just dealing with procedural matters. If there have been any financial mis-doings by Sentebale staff then it happened under this Chair's watch as well as previously.

And personal attacks by this woman are unnecessarily provocative imo. She refers to herself as 'a proud African'. Well, so is Prince Seeiso and several members of the late Board of Trustees, so why race is being brought into this sad quarrel is debatable.

Sophie Chandauka claimed she had reported the trustees to the UK's Charity Commission and that a UK court had issued an injunction to stop her dismissal. CNN has not seen a copy of the alleged injunction from the UK's High Court. A source familiar with the matter told CNN that no such order had been issued.

This Chair is certainly eager to defend her own position. And so goes after an easy and well known target, Prince Harry.

The fact that the entire board of Trustees and co-patron Prince Seeiso, have all resigned is, according to this woman, because they are all prejudiced against her, every one of them, and used bullying tactics against her. Even fellow Africans like Patron Prince Seeiso and several Trustees. She doesn't seem to mind playing the victim card herself!

And, by the way, she is currently based in New York, not Southern Africa. She's made plenty of allegations but we don't know that any of them are correct.

The Duke of Sussex allegedly sent an "unpleasant" and "imperious" message to the head of an African charity he founded after she refused to issue a statement defending his wife, the Telegraph can reveal.

Oh yes, more allegations! Apparently there are allegations against the Chair's behaviour as well, that will be examined by the Charity Commission so Sophie is not in the clear herself by any means, especially with 'imperious' behaviour.

The regulator for charities in England and Wales has opened a regulatory compliance case to examine concerns raised about the charity Sentebale.

Sentebale: Commission opens compliance case to assess concerns raised about the charity

Prince Harry and several of the ex Trustees have welcomed the Charity Commission's quick response.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-04-04/prince-harry-charity-probed-sentebale-uk-regulator/105135924

On behalf of the former trustees and patrons, we share in the relief that the Charity Commission confirmed they will be conducting a robust inquiry," Prince Harry said in a statement.

"We fully expect it will unveil the truth that collectively forced us to resign."

"We remain hopeful this will allow for the charity to be put in the right hands immediately, for the sake of the communities we serve."

The watchdog said on Thursday that it was in "direct contact" with parties on both sides to gather evidence in its compliance case.'

In addition, I just want to add that in spite of the Chair's shots at Harry (as an easy target) the Charity Commission will not be examining the role of Princes Harry and Seeiso regarding what went on in the boardroom as patrons hold an entirely different role in charity organisations to the Trustees and/or the Chair of the Board.

When Meghan become mom not easy to heard when she had Archie but postpartum and preeclampsia is no laughing matter for newly mothers

Curryong

No, neither of those conditions are great. Of course Meghan was an older mother so perhaps the preeclampsia was checked for during her pregnancy. Wonder if she suffered from high blood pressure. I was lucky to escape that, thank goodness.

Prince Harry has made a secret visit to Ukraine following his High Court proceedings in the UK. He has done so in conjuction with his work with Invictus.

Harry is always at his best with war victims and vets (and their families);and it's good to see him visiting this medical centre and seeing the victims of this latest and unjustified war.

Questions are being asked not about Harry but about the new Chair of Sentebale's financial ties.

https://feminegra.com/nandi-life-sciences-disappears-as-scrutiny-grows-over-sentebales-financial-ties/

'Sophie Chandauka once presented Nandi Life Sciences as a bold leap into biotech. Launched in 2023 with her brother, the firm promised groundbreaking therapies for rare diseases. Today, the company's website no longer loads, and its digital footprint is rapidly eroding.'

Also, a very new Trustee appointed by the new Chair has left her role after exactly six days in the role. Things not working out, then?

While in New York Harry and Meghan unveiled a heartrending city memorial that honours children who have died due to online bullying.

'The Lost Screen Memorial is comprised of 50 smartphones, each displaying the lock screen photo of a child whose life was cut short, stemming from the harmful effects of social media. The personal images were shared by parents, who are members of the Archewell Foundation Parents' Network, to call attention to the need for safer online spaces.'
