King Charles meets farmers and young leaders at a reception hosted by the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission, joined by local farmer Johnny Blair. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla helps chef Paula McIntyre cook steak fillets using the farm's oil produce.

The King and Queen this morning visited the Old Town Hall, 1 Scarva Street, Banbridge, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr Gawn Rowan Hamilton) and the Lord Mayor of Banbridge (Councillor Sarah Duffy).

Their Majesties, escorted respectively by Councillor Kyle Savage (Deputy Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council) and Mr Roger Wilson (Chief Executive of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council), met the Banbridge Community Advice Services and The King attended a Reception with representatives from local businesses.

Afterwards Their Majesties walked through Banbridge meeting members of the local community.

The Queen this morning visited Banbridge Library, 23 Scarva Road, Banbridge.

Sir Stephen Fry has been made a Knight Bachelor by The King at Windsor Castle today. The honour was presented in recognition of his services to mental health awareness, the environment, and charity.

Honours were also presented to athletes Poppy Maskill, Dina Asher-Smith, and Amy Truesdale, who all received MBEs!

The King held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

Mrs Justice Henke and Mrs Justice Harris-Short were received by The King at Windsor Castle this afternoon upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when His Majesty invested them with the Insignia of Dames Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Mr Justice Cusworth, Mr Justice Dias, Mr Justice Garrido, Mr Justice Harrison, Mr Justice Mould, Mr Justice Sheldon, Mr Justice Thompsell and Mr Justice Trowell were received by The King upon their appointment as Justices of the High Court when His Majesty conferred upon them the honour of Knighthood and invested them with the Insignia of Knights Bachelor.

The King later joined a Reception for the Butler Trust Annual Awards Ceremony held by The Princess Royal at St James's Palace.

The Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer) had an audience of His Majesty.

The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, with The King, this evening gave a Reception at Clarence House.

The Duchess of Gloucester was present.

The King will view 'SOIL: The World at Our Feet', an exhibition at Somerset House unearthing the wonder of soil, its unbreakable bond to all life, and the vital role it plays in our planet's future.


Queen Camilla visits the Charles Dickens House Museum to celebrate 100 years since the house was opened to the public in 1925, after it was saved from demolition and renovated by The Dickens Fellowship.

The King, Royal Founding Patron, Royal Countryside Fund, this morning attended a briefing from the Royal Countryside Fund Regenerative Farming Discussion at Somerset House, Strand, London WC2, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the Royal Countryside Fund (Ms Heather Hancock) and the Chairman of Somerset House (the Baroness Rebuck).

His Majesty subsequently viewed the "Soil: the World at Our Feet" exhibition, co-curated by the Land Gardeners, at Somerset House.

Ms Harriet Cross was received in audience by The King this afternoon and kissed hands upon her appointment as Governor of Montserrat.

Mr Philip Saltonstall was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Daniel Shepherd was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea.

Mrs Shepherd was also received by His Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The King upon their appointment as British High Commissioners:

Ms Josephine Gauld (the Republic of Sierra Leone), Mrs Harriet King (the Republic of the Gambia) and Mr Matthew Woods (the Republic of Cameroon and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea).

Ms Rei Otsuki was also received by His Majesty.

The King, Patron, the Royal Society, this afternoon received Sir Ravinder Maini and Professor Sir Marc Feldmann when His Majesty presented them with Royal Medals.

The King and Queen this evening gave a Reception for members of the Regional Media at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen this morning visited Charles Dickens Museum, 48 Doughty Street, London WC1, to mark the Centenary of the opening to the public of the former home of Charles Dickens, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Queen, Joint President, Elephant Family, this afternoon viewed the "Green Man Humpty Dumpty Egg" installed outside The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace, as part of Elephant Family's "the Big Egg Hunt".

Her Majesty, Patron, SafeLives, later received Mrs Isabel Boyer at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and the Rt Hon Dame Maria Miller upon assuming the appointment.

The Queen, Patron, SafeLives, afterwards held a Reception at Clarence House to mark the charity's Twenty First Anniversary.

The King received the Bishop of Truro (the Right Reverend David Williams) this afternoon who did homage upon his appointment.

His Majesty received the Bishop of Coventry (the Right Reverend Sophie Jelley) who did homage upon her appointment.

The Rt Hon Shabana Mahmood MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) administered the Oaths.

The Bishop of Hereford (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance.

The King, Patron, the Royal Society, received Sir Tejinder Virdee and Sir Michael Stratton when His Majesty presented them with Royal Medals.

Professor Sir David Baulcombe (Biological Secretary) was present.

The King held a Council at 4.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Lucy Powell MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Heidi Alexander MP (Secretary of State for Transport), the Rt Hon Edward Miliband MP (Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero) and the Baroness Smith of Basildon (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal).

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt Hon Lucy Powell MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

His Excellency Mr Bader Almunayekh was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the State of Kuwait to the Court of St James's.

Mrs Manal Almahmeed was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Guido Martinelli was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Panama to the Court of St James's.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

Her Excellency Ms Betty Palaso was received in audience by His Majesty upon her appointment as High Commissioner for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea in London.

The King later visited Royal Air Force Northolt, West End Road, Ruislip, Middlesex, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of Mission Aviation Fellowship and celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of Papua New Guinea's Independence and was received by the Station Commander (Group Captain Jonathan Hough), the Chief Executive Officer of Mission Aviation Fellowship UK (Mr Donovan Palmer) and Her Excellency the High Commissioner for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea in London.

His Majesty met members of the Fellowship's staff and volunteers and Papua New Guineans before unveiling the Fellowship's new Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft.

The King this evening held a Reception at Windsor Castle to celebrate Music in Communities, at which The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

The King and Queen left Royal Air Force Brize Norton this afternoon for the State Visit to Italy.

Their Majesties were received at the Station by the Lord Benyon (Lord Chamberlain) and His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs Marjorie Glasgow).

The King and Queen later arrived at Rome Ciampino Airport and were received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Italian Republic and San Marino (His Excellency the Lord Llewellyn of Steep) and Ministro Plenipotenziario Bruno Antonio Pasquino (Head of Protocol, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development).

The following were in attendance: the Rt Hon David Lammy MP (Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs), the Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton, Mr Theo Rycroft, Mr Tobyn Andreae, Miss Laura Sullivan and Mrs Belinda Kim.

The King and Queen this morning drove to the Quirinale Palace, Rome, and were received by The President of the Italian Republic and Mrs Laura Mattarella (daughter of The President).

His Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour and subsequently, with Her Majesty, viewed a flypast.

The King and Queen afterwards drove to the Altare della Patria and were received by the Minister of Defence (the Rt Hon Guido Crosetto) and the Chief of the Defence Forces (General Luciano Portolano).

His Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The King and Queen this afternoon visited the Colosseum and, having been received by the Italian Minister of Culture (Mr Alessandro Giuli) and the Mayor of Rome (Mr Roberto Gualtieri), met archaeologists and representatives of community organisations and, subsequently, members of the public at Colosseum Piazza.

Their Majesties later attended a Reception for the British Community given by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Italian Republic and San Marino (His Excellency the Lord Llewellyn of Steep) at the Residence in Rome.

The King this morning called upon Ms Giorgia Meloni (President of the Council of Ministers) at Villa Doria Pamphilj, Rome, Italy.

His Majesty later visited Mattatoio, Piazza Orazio Giustiniani, Rome, and was received by the Minister of Universities and Research (Mrs Anna Maria Bernini), the President of Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio d'Amico (Mr Gianni Letta) and the Mayor of Rome (Mr Roberto Gualtieri).

The King met dramatic arts students, alumni of the Accademia and viewed a performance of a Shakespeare extract.

His Majesty afterwards attended a briefing at Mattatoio on clean energy supply chains.

The King and Queen this afternoon drove to Palazzo Madama and were received by the Hon Ignazio La Russa (President of the Senate of the Republic) and Dr Federico Silvio Toniato (Secretary General).

Their Majesties, escorted by the President and Secretary General, walked through the Senate Chamber and viewed a display of historical artefacts.

The King and Queen subsequently visited Palazzo Montecitorio and, having been received by the President of the Chamber of Deputies (the Hon Lorenzo Fontana), His Majesty addressed the Joint Session of Parliament.

Their Majesties were entertained this evening at a State Banquet given by The President of the Italian Republic and Mrs Laura Materella (daughter of The President) at Quirinale Palace.

The Queen this morning visited Istituto Comprensivo Alessandro Manzoni, Via Lusitania, Rome, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of British Council Italy.

The King, accompanied by His Majesty's Ambassador to the Italian Republic and San Marino (His Excellency the Lord Llewellyn of Steep), this morning met those involved in Human Health and Wellbeing, Invasive Species and Conservation, and Urban Forests and Global Change, in the garden of the Ambassador's Residence in Rome and was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance (Dr Marc Palahí) and Professor Giuseppe Scarascia (Chief Scientist).

The King and Queen this afternoon visited the Piazza San Francesco, Ravenna, and were received by His Majesty's Consul-General for Milan (Mr Kassim Ramji), the President of Emilia-Romagna (Mr Michele de Pascale) and Mr Fabio Sbaraglia (Acting Deputy Mayor of Ravenna).

Their Majesties afterwards visited Dante Alighieri's Tomb in Ravenna and were received by Ms Silvia Pagliano (Dante Expert and Artistic Director, Teatro delle Albe).

The King subsequently visited the Basilica of St Vitale, Ravenna, and was received by the Archbishop of Ravenna-Cervia (Monsignor Lorenzo Ghizzoni) and Don Alberto Brunelli (Vicar General).

His Majesty toured the Basilica, escorted by Professor Maria Cristina Carile (Professor, University of Bologna) and Mr Federico Marchetti (Chairman, Sustainable Markets Initiative's Fashion Task Force), viewing mosaics and the presbytery, before visiting the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia.

The King and Queen afterwards drove to the Town Hall, Ravenna, and were received by The President of the Italian Republic and Mrs Laura Mattarella (daughter of The President).

Their Majesties, with His Excellency and Mrs Mattarella, joined an Extraordinary Session of the City Council and subsequently attended a Reception in the pre-Council Chamber.

The King and Queen, with The President of the Italian Republic and Mrs Mattarella, subsequently visited the Piazza del Popolo and met traditional pasta and piadina makers and other food producers and organisations, before viewing a performance of traditional dance.

The Queen, Patron, The Queen's Reading Room, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Palazzo Guiccioli, Via Camillo Benso Cavour, Ravenna, and was received by Ms Serena Corti (Deputy Consul-General for Ravenna).

Her Majesty subsequently visited the Byron Museum.

The King and Queen afterwards bade farewell to The President of the Italian Republic and Mrs Mattarella upon the conclusion of the State Visit to Italy.

Their Majesties, attended by the Rt Hon Sir Clive Alderton, Mr Theo Rycroft, Mr Tobyn Andreae, Miss Laura Sullivan and Mrs Belinda Kim, this evening arrived at Aberdeen International Airport, Dyce.

The King, Patron, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Association, this afternoon planted a commemorative tree on Balmoral Estate to mark the dedicated service of The late Queen as Colonel-in-Chief of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) and was received by the former Colonel of the Regiment (Lieutenant General Sir Andrew Graham, Bt).

His Majesty afterwards met former Senior Officers and wider Regimental representatives, including those from The Calgary Highlanders and The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise's).

Later, The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King via telephone.
