Mr Garry Marsden was received by The King this morning when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mrs Katherine Marsden was also received by The King when His Majesty decorated her with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).

I expected King Charles to mark Holocaust Day and the attendance at Auschwitz concentration Camp commemorations as he has always been interested in the different religions of the world and in modern European history. It's close to his heart. Probably Camilla won't attend though, due to all the standing about in the cold.

The King this afternoon held a Holocaust Memorial and Education Event at Buckingham Palace in advance of Holocaust Memorial Day.

Later, the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.
