Yes, this wedding, parties, reception is going to be a huge multi-event occasion. Hello reputedly paid half a million pounds in 2008 for Peter and Autumn Phillips nuptials, so the magazine will undoubtedly be paying out big for this one.

The downside for them for. this wedding is that much of Britain, US and Western Europe scarcely knows that Norway even has a RF, let alone anything about M-L and her shaman, and few royals apart from the NRF are likely to be present. Victoria and Daniel perhaps, maybe a few of the Dutch RF, though even that's doubtful considering what is going on at the moment with Marius.

It's hardly surprising that members of the NRF won't be posing for wedding photos. The whole procedure has been sold to Hallo magazine. The late Queen wasn't happy at Peter Phillips wedding reception years ago either, where the same sort of deal pertained.

"Marius has no regrets"

Bild publishes photo of Marius Borg Høiby, son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, at a party late last year. He recently made headlines for assaulting multiple (ex) girlfriends and vandalism while under the influence of drugs.

The ban on visitors lasts until March next year. This is confirmed by the woman's lawyer and the police to NRK.

NRK: Marius Borg Høiby imposed a restraining order against the offended woman

Marius is just messing about at the moment in Italy, jobless and heedless. His family and his lawyers probably advised him to get out of Norway and just come back when things have cooled down a bit as far as the media is concerned.

I'm not sure it's a good thing for Marius to be seen as a careless playboy jet-setting around.  He seems to have been living rather high on the hog, and one wonders who is paying for his lifestyle?

Marius Borg Høiby was arrested by the police on Friday evening in Norway.

"As of now, there are four victims in the case. The Oslo police district is investigating the case with high priority."

On Friday evening Marius was arrested by the police, who received information that Høiby had breached the restraining order. It was decided that he should be arrested on the basis of the risk of recidivism.

On Saturday afternoon he has been released.

At least Marius is back in Norway. Wonder whether he is staying with his parents until his trial. The behaviour he has displayed has been unbelievably stupid, especially the latest incident, and may well be fuelled by drugs as he appears to have been addicted for some time. There will be huge media interest in this trial, none of it reflecting well on the NRF, and presumably no distractions to come from the Princess and her shaman.

Just back to add that the fact that Marius was arrested while on a hunting trip in the mountains accompanied by friends is absolutely bizarre to me. Imo this man needs to be shut away for the moment in a secure clinic or other facility, and begin treatment until his trial, with no access to anyone except his lawyers. After the trial as well, whether he receives a prison sentence or not.

On this I totally agree with you, the actions whatever they maybe from the NRF is disgusting and will I believe in the end damage the royal family......I would hope that the media and the cops and the judge would not let his status as the son of the CP get in the way of law that is for everyone.  Let MM cry in her tea or whatever for this is Marius's total responsibility and trying to cover up for him is making him more dangerous than ever. Having spent a lifetime with kids and parents like this, it is time she shuts the door and let life teach this kid a hard lesson and pray he takes it seriously.  Marius is an ADULT and time to treat him like one!

Per the headlines on top of that piece. I don't know why anyone would be shocked. Prince Sverre Magnus is enjoying a bit of a gap year at 18, plus he's in lurrve with his model girlfriend, Amelie. She has work in Trondheim so he's decided to join her. For security reasons presumably the RF got him an apartment there, though his girlfriend might not in occupation, at least not fulltime!

The tests carried out on the day of his first arrest (August 4) after the attack on his ex-girlfriend revealed that Marius Borg had consumed cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy) and THC, according to the Norwegian media VG

A delightful concoction I'm sure, and one Marius has almost certainly sampled regularly in various forms since his late teens. This trial needs to hurry up and happen and he can then be given a custodial sentence of whatever kind is appropriate. Marius also needs a complete re-boot in his attitude towards young women, especially those he professes to love.
