In my opinion the Sussexes have already replied to the Coronation invite with a ?Yes?. They did that to the Lord Chamberlain?s Office direct, maybe late in March, maybe the beginning of April.

The Press reacted angrily because they have more or less stated that it is their RIGHT to know how the Sussexes have replied to the invitation. The Sussexes disagree and their non response to all the media?s insulting, grotesque and rude articles about their not replying has reaffirmed their determination not to issue any statement about it until the last moment. The Palace won?t do it because they don?t want to pre-empt any Sussex reply. So it?s stalemate leaving the media extremely annoyed but clueless.

So, it sounds like the decision was finally made. Rather odd choice. I?d stay at home with my kids and call it a day.

Yes Harry go alone to King Charles?s coronation but Meghan stay with kids last time Harry and Meghan went to platinum jubilee last June 2022 celebrate late Queen Elizabeth?s 70th years of her Queen and fans booed Sussex

HistoryGirl2

^ I can see that being a factor. They?re not popular in the UK. I can imagine this as an attempt to remain close to Charles? I don?t know. I can also imagine William won?t be put in a position where he?ll have to interact with him. Luckily it?s a huge event. No need for them to.

Gert?s Royals Twitter says

Crown Prince Haakon & Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway have confirmed they will attend King Charles?s Coronation next month.

The Albanian Royal House (former monarchy) has confirmed, to me via email, that no member of the Royal Family will be attending King Charles?s Coronation next month. (None attended Queen Elizabeth?s funeral either). Not surprised that

Grand Duke Henri & Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg also among attend to King Charles?s coronation due via email

The Serbia/Yugoslavia Royal House responded to my email saying, ?We will issue an official press release regarding the coronation of HM King Charles III in the following period.?

Which indicates to me that someone from the royal family will be attending. I will update with who when the announcement has been made.

I expect it will be Crown Prince Alexander & Crown Princess Katherine who will represent the Serbia/Yugoslavia Royal House at King Charles?s coronation.

The pair attended Queen Elizabeth?s Funeral.

But i have kept eyes for upcoming European Royals who come to King Charles?s coronation include Dutch Royals,Belgian Royals,Luxembourg Royals and mores on the lists due limited seats and also world leaders

Yes, why is Harry triggring himself more with anything related to his family, he has trashed them to oblivion, going....it must be Netflix money.

HistoryGirl2

Who knows. Odd people, overall. I would say it?ll be over soon, but with every family event it?s going to be a thing. Such awkward unpleasantness. I can imagine that?s why Charles just wants to move on from it. Nobody has to like anyone. It?s family. Grin and bear it?or just don?t come because it doesn?t look like the apologies got lost in the mail.

This seems like a sensible solution for all involved. I'm glad that the announcement has been made.

They both went to the Queen?s funeral last year, obviously after the Jubilee and weren?t booed, so that?s irrelevant especially as there were cheers from the public for them at the Jubilee as well. And Meghan was hugged by a member of the public at the walk about later on.

Right

HistoryGirl2

I should hope no one would be crass enough to boo at a funeral, regardless of how they felt about some people involved.

wannable

Allegedly the public were requested to behave. There is a police officer every 50 meters.  At least this is what RJ is saying in reference to the Windsor (surprise) walk, police officers did tell the public the Sussexes were also going to walk with the Waleses and to please behave.

HistoryGirl2

That and Harry?s book, having been published after that, can?t have helped in terms of popularity.

If this is true, than it was the appropriate decision. No matter how anyone feels about the monarchy, the late QEII or any member of the BRF, it wouldn't be acceptable to boo during that time.

Amabel2

TLLK

Yes he did and based upon the reaction of those surrounding the man who booed, the public didn't care for it.
