The move will allow Princess Madeleine's children to remain in the line of succession.

The rules in Sweden are that children must be educated in Sweden to be in the line of succession.

In 2019, Fredrik Wers'll, Marshal of the Realm, confirmed Princess Madeleine had been given a bit of leeway on her children living & attend school abroad. But couldn't address if the children would lose their place in the line of succession in the future if they did all their education outside of Sweden.

Good point @wannable. Regarding the family's return to Sweden, I have to wonder if KCG's recent health issues and the fact that her parents are aging, has prompted them to return to Sweden. Chris O'Neil does not have any official role in Sweden unlike Prince Daniel and Princess Sofia, though I expect that we'll see him at family and larger national events.

I follow Gert's and like a dozen of seriously dedicated royal watchers who are not royal rota.  Once a follow, notifications come in.  I have also unfollowed one or two, once they went beyond historical tweets to seriously incurring in royal rota behind a pen 365 days doing their job by acts of slandering.  Something went seriously wrong.

I wouldn't have known that historical fact, so it is super worth the posting.

QuoteKing Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has gone back to royal duties after heart surgery and his return has had a rather royal ring to it.

The King of Sweden welcomed Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania to the Royal Palace as she visited Stockholm.

Queen Silvia of Sweden and Prince Radu of Romania were also present. Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Christina and her husband, Tord Magnuson, joined the group.

Yes, I also wondered if her father's heart condition influenced her decision to return home. However, nothing beats the perks that probably come with being the grandchildren of the King and having a future Queen as an aunt. The family will receive full VIP treatment in Sweden. I hope Chris will enjoy his new home.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attend seminar on dyslexia ? UFO No More

Quote

On Tuesday, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended a seminar on dyslexia organized by the Prince Couple's Foundation. The report ?The value of being yourself: The Potential of a More inclusive School and Workplace? was presented during the seminar.

In his speech, Prince Carl Philip said: ?We are all different. Our differences are our strengths. I think everyone here today agrees. We know that there is great potential in letting our differences be our strengths and that this should be the obvious norm. Everyone feels good about being given the conditions to be exactly who they are. Even though we know this, there are many people who feel that they are not given the right conditions, who on the contrary experience stigmatization.?
