The Christmas event which financially supports causes looks good. Good reviews fir C, P of W.
She looks lovely, pretty which is easy for her to do.
Support of , no doubt, her family and Sophie, Bea, Eug will be there.

Good event  for good causes and the people of her country, who she has to please, are fine with her.

Can someone point me to in the direction of the concert? I want to listen to it and hear what is being played, mostly the tribute to HM.  Thank you so much..

wannable

It's an ITV (they own the license) exclusive only for UK.

Hopefully available on a later date end of Dec 2022 or Jan 2023 youtube?!

Thank you  for finding that, did Catherine play the piano this time?  Last year she did a fabulous job playing the piano and hoped she did the same this year.

Happy Holidays wannable     :xmas21:

Happy holidays to you too.

I have no idea what and if there is a surprise this year. It's quite sad that ITV has an exclusive license 24th Dec. 7:00 p.m. London time/Only UK

(The whole Christmas carole last year, we didn't get to see it either, only Kate's clip, I'll be okay with that though if any this year. Because of the newness of Kate playing the piano, in 48 hours it had 6 million views)

Yes it most certainly is and one of my favorite places when I visited London was Windsor, at the time I could not go in and don't remember way yet the castle itself outside was amazing to me. Think about how all the men who took their lives to build this castle stone by stone, just seeing it I was thrilled and I still have pictures to this day just me touching the stone work to feel the castle.  I love Windsor and so hope someday to go back there and just sit and take it all in again.

It is an absolutely worthwhile visit! The tour of the castle and the state rooms is magical as you see rooms and places that have been featured in documentaries and photographs. Go at a time when less visitors will be there.  I went in March during the week, and the crowds were pretty light.  Not to miss: the new lantern room, which was where the fire started and which was the private chapel. So moving to look at the new, exquisite overhead structure and the new stained glass window showing the fire etc.  And while there you are as close to the private quarters as you could get.  Of course St. George's Hall and the Waterloo Chamber also sport that unbelievable oak structure. There are formal rooms, but it is so obvious that Windsor is a home.  I looked up from the courtyard to see a balcony with chairs where the royal couple could sit and take in the sun. There were daffodils covering the hill surrounding the round tower - so pretty.

Thank you so much for that Princess Cassandra, I so want to go back and visit Windsor, it was so thrilling for me to be there at that time.  I have friends that live outside of London at the time and was visiting them......here is what I learned about the people, they live with all these old ancient buildings without seeing them like I do.....I remember my friend and I talking about some huge estate that we were visiting and that was loaded with history and how I was amazed at the palace, he was surprised at my reaction, so he started to understand my views as this was history to me, stuff I have read in books and to actually see it made me thrilled.   I have always wanted to be a history teacher or archeologist yet life got in the way.

QuoteThe initiative was due to conclude in December ? the end of the Jubilee year ? but because the official tree planting season in the United Kingdom is from October to March, the initiative has been extended to include the full tree planting season, beginning in October 2022 and concluding in March 2023.

I'm pleased that the planting season was taken into consideration when the Green Canopy Initiative was announced. Hope that this wild cherry will thrive in its new location outside of Westminster Abbey.

Very nice to see William and Catherine out and doing the job required of them.  I love that coat Catherine is wearing.....a nice Scottish plaid looks so good on her. Yet her hair is sure getting long, and longer even though it is beautiful, I don't like really long longer hair.  William looked tense a few times yet that is to be expected after all that has been going on.  He looked sharp as usual.

'It's been very surreal' Birkenhead charity reacts to Royal visit - Liverpool Echo

QuoteThe Prince and Princess of Wales took a trip to Birkenhead this afternoon.

Following their visit to the new Royal Liverpool Hospital, they visited a mental health charity in Birkenhead. The Open Door charity, which supports young people across the region, welcomed the Royal couple to their Bloom Building in Birkenhead.

William and Kate arrived in the early afternoon, and spent more than an hour chatting with teenagers about how the charity helped them, as well as with the its leaders, about how they can help expand the creative charity's unprecedented work in the area. Director Lee Pennington founded the Open Door Charity 11 years ago, and said the visit was "surreal".

^This is such good news, love seeing the royal family back to work and meeting the people.  It has been a long road back from all the issues around the world.

Glad the visit was carried out, it was postponed from September 2022 due to the passing away of HMQEII.

Here is  the operational note then.
