The Stone of Scone (or Stone of Destiny) is going to occupy its traditional position in Westminster Abbey when King Charles is crowned, Scottish officials have confirmed. I remember reading about this famous artifact being pinched by Scottish nationalists in 1950.

This morning on South Georgia, the proclamation of our new sovereign, His Majesty King Charles III, was made to the overwintering teams resident at King Edward Point and Bird Island by Her Excellency the Commissioner.

This morning Her Excellency the Governor, Sarah Tucker read the Proclamation declaring His Majesty The King Charles III as Rightful King of the United Kingdom and his other Territories. A  21 Gun Salute and 3 Cheers for The King marked this significant moment in history.

Following the 21 gun salute in Salem park today, Montserrat gave three cheers for His Majesty King Charles III

On King Charles III's Coronation Day, will the heads of state and foreign royalty travel to Westminster Abbey by carriages and coaches?

For security reasons and other practicalities I?d say many limousines will be used, far more than in the last Coronation.

There was an in depth discussion about this elsewhere and a knowledgeable member stated that although the renovations at BP are continuing on schedule just the rooms on the ground floor of BP are able to be used at the moment as several problems have been found on all upper levels to do with weight-bearing flooring. That would include any occupants? private apartments. Even the Bow Room on the ground floor was being used for the Queen?s coffin rather than the Throne Room due to this issue.

Has it ever been confirmed officially that Camilla does have oesteoarthritis? I know we speculated about her possible suffering from it years ago but I don?t think I?ve ever read that she has it.

I don't believe that it has ever been officially confirmed, but from looking at the changes in her posture over the years, I do believe that she has inherited the same disease that ultimately killed her mother and maternal grandmother. It's only with modern treatments that its progression has likely been slowed.  IMHO Camilla seems to move her upper body cautiously.
