Eating 2 healthy meals per day and exercising daily the 5BX and long walks when possible at his age, he is doing the best and right thing.

I agree. I also notice that members of BRF tend to be quite trim when compared to the average population.

his own health and fitness routine, based on a Royal Canadian Air Force fitness regimen known as the 5BX (Five Basic Exercises).
He is sufficiently motivated by the desire to continue to fit into military uniforms made for him 30 years ago without his tailor having to let them out. And walking, especially in Scotland, has become an essential part of his routine.
?His weight has remained pretty constant at around 11st 5lb for the past 40 years, though it does go up more often these days than it used to,? says a friend.
Exercise is only part of the story. Healthy and moderate eating ? only two meals a day ? is another. Naturally, his diet revolves around organic food and he has regular meat-free days. He also likes to fast from time to time, which helps to moderate his weight.
Breakfast is usually soft-boiled eggs and fruit, and he never eats lunch. Dislikes include overcooked vegetables, coffee, chocolate, nuts, garlic, curry, chillies, raw onions, pork and blue cheese.
Dinner is usually grilled meat or fish with fresh vegetables. Neither Charles nor Camilla has an especially sweet tooth, though the Prince has always been partial to treacle tart.

Now, his brother Andrew, all what is here mentioned, the contrary, new clothes and uniforms have had to be done, he's quite fat these days and few years since.

We were discussing from the Tour, Charles buff appearance at the beach.  The best male compare and contrast would be his brother Andrew, the not so nice report from last year's Trooping of the Colour, his weight quite big and expanded, he was doing exercise in order to ride a horse, not sure now a days, since he is fat compared to years ago.  I doubt his 20 years ago clothes and uniforms fit him or ever will.

How comfortable she is with it is known only to her. She has to wear loose fitting clothes.

Keeping it cool! The Duchess of Cornwall sips on passionfruit rum while Prince Charles rocks shades as they continue their Caribbean tour in St Vincent and the Grenadines
Prince Charles, 70, and Camilla, 71, are on a 12 day tour of the Caribbean
The couple arrived in St Vincent and the Grenadines for a one day visit
Duchess sheltered from 30?C heat under parasol and wore pink kaftan
Royals looked dressed for the heat, with Charles donning a pair of cool specs
The Duchess of Cornwall also visited St Vincent and The Grenadines Community College to join a round table on domestic violence and to meet female entrepreneurs.
Camilla wore a baby pink kaftan, with balloon sleeves and a light white detailing.
She paired the mid-length top with white trousers, and carried a light parasol and straw bag.
The Prince looked cool in a grey suit, with a light pink tie and grey and black striped tie.
He finished off the outfit with a pair of trendy sunglasses.

Camilla always dresses so appropriately - the cool kaftan is perfect for a woman of her age and build - she puts some of the youngsters to shame

I think Camilla has brought the best out on Charles also she's elegant

Most likely because she has invested in a wardrobe designed for warm and humid climates like India, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. She can easily re-wear the items that she already has in her closet. :Jen:

These outfits are still no doubt expensive, she has the budget she should not wear these outfits which seem out of place. Some outfits tailored to her figure might suffice. And the material wrinkles.

After exciting the crowds in St Kitts Charles and Camilla created similar scenes when they visited nearby Nevis

Interesting that the referendum in St Vincent and the Grenadines has been cancelled. The popularity of the monarchy and the RF is still quite high in the smaller realms in the Caribbean and increases after Royal tours. There's been talk of ditching the Queen in Jamaica and Barbados for instance for more than twenty years to my knowledge. It's desultory and rises and falls but nothing ever gets done about it and I expect that to last in the Caribbean for the next few years at least.

A very interesting and colourful tour so far, and Cuba promises even more sights. What happened to the 26th of March? Is it a rest day? The Caymans are beautiful and I hope most of the damage from the last hurricane has been repaired.

It could be a rest day, but I suspect there will be some private tours of the island, as well. The beaches are no longer commercialized, or so I'm told. If that is true they might be on the unofficial schedule.  And the architecture has been left as it was before the 1960's. I know for a fact that there are tours specifically to see Cuban architecture. I've been wondering if he might want to see it in depth.

Supposedly Camilla was complaining about the cuisine in Cuba  before the trip.

Charles and Camilla enjoy a romantic stroll on the beach in Grenada as the Duchess goes barefoot but the Prince keeps his British brogues resolutely laced up

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are in Grenada (left) where they will learn more about local agriculture and the history of cocoa and spice production on the island. Charles and Camilla (bottom right)are currently on a marathon 12-day tour of the region, visiting six countries in 12 days and undertaking a staggering 50 engagements, despite both now being in their seventies. The tour is being undertaken at the request of the British Government to strengthen and highlight diplomatic, political, economic and cultural ties in the region. Charles (top right) was welcomed by soldiers as he donned a grey suit and sunglasses.

IMO this will be one of the highlights of the couple's tour.

Camilla wears outfits she wore to mosques. Can't some fashion consultant have more suitable outfits for her. The flowing look seems out of place.

I hope Charles does not deck himself out with medals when he goes to Cuba.

TLLK

I disagree that she looks out of place. The colors and the use of the natural  fabrics (linen/cotton) are well suited for warm and humid climates in the Caribbean just as they would be in Southeast Asia or on the Indian Subcontinent.  :)

I think the Duchess always looks age appropriate and stylish, but that should be no surprise when she is listed as my favorite royal on this forum.  But really, a person of mature years and figure should not wear styles meant for young women.  Yet, she is still stylish, and this impresses me.

I am thinking that since the 26th is going to be a private day we will miss out on those pictures (if they do go touring), but hopefully the public photographs will be spectacular.
