THe Fail forgets that since time immemorial royal bride dresses have not been seen by the public until  the wedding day. It seems that the DM caters to the gullible with the fake news/click bait.

Diana's wedding was also almost 37 years ago and if they took the time to convert the cost with today they would see that the dress is likely around the same price range. Of course that doesn't fit their agenda.

That's not the dress. That's a 2016 gown from the designers. The gown will be revealed on the day of the wedding as per tradition,

Thomas Sr. according to The Sun, Daily Mail was taking his measures, a Tuxedo Martinez employee said those measurements were to be sent inmediately to London.  Possibly Thomas will be renting rather than purchasing.  Was invited and played his family side or was invited last minute is another story of its own, sooner or later the truth always prevails.

I agree that unless Tom Sr. plans to attend future events in a morning suit, then it makes sense to rent his apparel. I'm sure that KP would be able to advise him which shops can provide him good selection and discreet service.

I recall the Doria story was denied by Oprah last week.  Why would an interview with Doria get big ratings. Oprah would want an interview with Meghan and Harry to get the ratings.

Does it matter if Tom rents or buys the formal wear?

I don't know what this collection has to do with the Royal wedding. The Queen will be in hat and coat not tiara and gems, lol. I think she'll probably be wearing her inevitable pearl necklace, pearl stud earrings and a nice brooch. The rest of the guests won't exactly be encrusted with gems from the collection either.

Unless of course they're implying that Meghan will be wearing some of the Queen's major tiaras! I really do not like the Brazilian Aquamarine tiara. Of course it's worth a King's ransom but that centre stone could with advantage have been cut down by half, IMO. As it it this monstrous centre carbuncle rises up between two not particularly attractive gilt  'ears'. It just looks clunky, and aquamarines are such beautiful stones too.

^^^I so agree @Curryong that QEII will wear her typical daytime jewelry. This is not a Scandinavian royal wedding that requests gala wear for the guests.

As for Meghan's wedding tiara, if she opts to wear one (which I believe that she will) it will likely be one that she's likely to wear at any future gala events ie: Diplomatic reception or state visit dinner. I believe that she's going to receive a permanent loan from the main collection like Camilla, Sophie, and Kate to wear during QEII's reign. I do not believe that she will be gifted a tiara to wear like Sarah Ferguson was in the 1980's.

Why would Harry take notice of Janet Street Porter, a raucous-voiced republican journalist who's attacked Meghan on a breakfast TV show before now, in taking her advice in the matter of his and his wife's titles? I noted Street Porter was prepared to bend her so- strong republican principles when it came to an MBE for herself, going to BP to receive it from the monarch! The woman's a hypocrite anyway, pontificating about marriage with her record.

Incidentally, I believe Serena Williams has pulled out of the Rome tennis tournament and so is a likely wedding guest on the 19th.

As you know im skeptical of the Sparkle, but I have to be fair and say I feel for her on this one, really sad and pathetic for her brother to ask this now after the last letter. Be a man and accept that the invitation boat has sailed. At this point having them there would only look bad making ppl wonder why she relented at the last minute.

Also while the kids are adults now, I would have liked her dad to have come out months ago and called for peace among the siblings. I know hes a private guy and it likely wouldnt have worked, but it would have been excellent optics and would have given Megan some much needed high ground. He's the symbolic at least, head of the family, and things were well past the whole trying to do that in private long ago.

The family's a dumpster fire, publicity wise, and that would have been a much need extinguisher to it, makes me wonder if dad figured its her mess and treatment of family that started it, she can live through it. Again, so many cases of wondering if smoke=fire that doesnt need to be. Thats one thing, if Diana was still here, the publicity would have been handled A LOT better, reminds me of the RF back in the days when they first got their head handed to them by Diana and they didnt know what to do.

Oh well, its almost over, once the weddings done as long as she keeps her nose clean shes got it made.
