It's getting quite expensive just to have an estimated 100,000 tourists watch them in/outside the grounds of Windsor Castle. The times have changed, he's so way down the succession line.  Every broadsheet/tabloid that is reporting the security cost of GBP 30 Million, the comments are scathing.

We've been through the succession thing before. And the debate about Harry's popularity. It was incredibly icy on some of those day trips to various parts of the U.K. I wouldn't have come out in snow and ice for anyone either.  There are few that gather for Kate or for William's engagements, I've noticed.
What are you saying? That there will only be a hundred or so people out on the streets of Windsor to see 'Unpopular Harry' and his bride in May? Well, we'll see!

And there is always resentment over costs for Royal weddings and every other gathering where royals and VIPs are present. It will be interesting to see what the DF rabble say 'scathingly' about the cost re security of Eugenie's wedding with celebrities, VIPs and royals. She is much further down the line than Harry is, and even though the October wedding won't comprise a carriage ride and the wedding will take place at Windsor,  the cost will still be extremely high.

And once he's married in seven weeks time there won't be another major wedding in the Royal family for the DM crowd to worry about until George and Charlotte marry. God knows what the costs will be then!

But of course they can all have a moan about the Queen's funeral, Prince Philip's, the Coronation of Charles and the funerals of Charles and Camilla etc. in the future. So there will be plenty for people to have an enjoyable gripe about in the comments section of the Fail, won't there?

With eight weeks to go until the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Thames Valley Police revealed on Thursday that it expects more than 100,000 people to visit Windsor for the event. This will make it one of the biggest operations in the force?s history.

Details of the security at the event at St George?s chapel, Windsor Castle, have also been released. A broad range of visible security measures are in place, such as number plate recognition technology, CCTV, and anti-terror vehicle barriers. There will also be a range of security measures not visible to the public.

Residents, businesses and visitors to the town can expect to see an increased police presence in the coming weeks. There will be police officers, both armed and unarmed, search dogs, the roads policing unit and the National Police Air Service on hand during the run up to the big day.

I hardly think hers will be very significantly less than the $$$ spent on Harry. Andrew is said to be the Queen's favorite and she would not skimp on the wedding moneywise.

The floral arrangements on Philippa's site are to die for. Absolutely beautiful, and she'll use blossoms from the Royal estates and gardens.

Security preparations are going to be extensive as IMVHO the public lining the procession route are the ones who will be the most vulnerable to any possible attacks. The 2017 attacks have made a deep impression on the need for public safety.

This is a nice broad selection of mostly UK charities, good because Harry has been criticised by some in the past for concentrating on Africa. It reflects Harry's dedication to vets and their families, the couple's interests in the environment, Meghan's in the welfare of girls, and the appeal for donations to Crisis (homeless charity) was a nice touch I thought.
