King Charles and Queen Camilla have hosted an Education and Skills Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to recognise those working in education across the country. Around 7,000 industry representatives attended

Her Honour the Hon Bernadette McIntyre was received by The King this afternoon upon her appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.

His Honour Richard McIntyre was also received by His Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon their appointment as His Majesty's Ambassadors: Mrs Laura Davies (the Republic of Finland), Mr Angus McKee (the Republic of Mali) and Mr Hugo Shorter (the Islamic Republic of Iran).

Mr Charles Davies was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Giles Enticknap was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Botswana.

Mrs Enticknap was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Kanbar Hossein-Bor was received in audience by The King upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Fiji, non-resident British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kiribati and non-resident Ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Dr Samineh Khaneh Zaei was also received by His Majesty.

The Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP (Speaker of the House of Commons), with a Delegation of Speakers of Legislatures of United Kingdom Overseas Territories, was received in audience by The King.

The King and Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace to celebrate and recognise those working in Education and Skills.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Catterick and the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Queen, Patron, the Westminster Abbey Sacristy Project, this morning unveiled the foundation stone for The King Charles III Sacristy at Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

King Charles and Queen Camilla meet performers and creatives involved in Bradford 2025 to celebrate the region's year as UK City of Culture.

The King and Queen this afternoon visited Bradford Live, 1 Thornton Road, Bradford, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Mr Edmund Anderson), the Venue Director (Mr Darren Moore), the Chairman of Trustees, Bradford 2025 (Ms Kersten England), the Lord Mayor of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (Councillor Beverley Mullaney) and the Mayor of West Yorkshire (Ms Tracy Brabin).

Their Majesties viewed a short rehearsal of "Sing, Dance, Leap" before being received by the Executive Director, Bradford 2025 (Mr Daniel Bates) and Ms Shanaz Gulzar (Creative Director) and attending a Reception with artists and contributors to the Bradford 2025 City of Culture programme and opening Bradford Live.

The King, Royal Founding President, The King's Trust, was received by the Chief Executive Officer, The King's Trust (Mr Jonathan Townsend) and met Trust Ambassadors and others supported by the Trust.

Their Majesties then met members of the public outside Bradford Live.

The King afterwards attended a Reception at Impact Hub Bradford, 34 Peckover Street, Bradford, and, having been received by the Chief Executive Officer (Mr Kamran Rashid), renamed the Hub "Impact Hub Yorkshire".

His Majesty subsequently visited the David Hockney gallery at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Lister Bank, Bradford, and was received by Mr James Steward (Head of Service, Bradford Museums and Galleries) and Ms Jill Iredale (Curator).

The King afterwards met local people involved in cultural activities and community groups in the City and viewed a performance by the Bantam of the Opera choir.

The Queen, Patron, the National Literacy Trust, accompanied by Mrs Helen Thomson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire), attended a Reception for volunteer Literacy Champions and afterwards a schools poetry performance as part of Bradford Literacy Hub's contribution to the Year of Culture, at Fountains Church, Glydegate Square, Bradford.

Her Majesty later officially opened the Brontë Birthplace, 72-74 Market Street, Thornton, during the City of Culture year.

The King, as Sovereign of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, this morning attended the Three Hundredth Anniversary Service in Westminster Abbey and was present at the Ceremony of Installation of the Prince of Wales as the Great Master and of Knights of the Most Honourable Order which took place in King Henry VII's Chapel, the Chapel of the Order.
