King Charles not mention about Sussex and Duke of York but King Charles mention on William and Catherine in King?s speech and mores but King Charles follow late King George VI and Queen Elizabeth examples in traditional speech

With King Charles's speech - filmed in the beautiful candlelight of St George's - we can see that her values endure strongly through her son. The guard may change, but the principles that motivate the tradition endure' I Telegraph View

It?s an historic moment I guess, isn?t it? I thought it was a very good speech, delivered in Charles?s usual manner.

Because of our geography we get the monarch?s speech here before the British do. New Zealand gets it first, then it spreads through the Commonwealth. Nobody I know here actually sits down to watch it as I remember families doing when I was a child in England but part of it is shown on the evening news on Xmas Day.

Several of my English relatives and friends watched it though. I phoned them late last night their time. I think the TV viewer numbers will naturally recede as people get used to having a King.

Quite an extensive fashion round up for the BRF, so this is best place to put this link. Fashion identification for Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis, Sophie, Louise, Zara, Mia, Lena, Savannah and Isla. Savannah is tall enough to be wearing one of her mother's coats!

British Royal Family attends Christmas Day service at Sandringham ? UFO No More

QuoteAfter the service, the Royal Family did a walkabout to greet the crowds waiting for them. It is the first time since 2019 that the traditional Christmas walk of the Royal Family could take place.

Congratulations, including the 'watch later in other social media accounts', approx all added up 30 million without counting per country (just social media + BBC).  I hope they enjoyed their boxing day shoot and informal lunch, he deserves it. It must be so hard all the consecutive deaths and issues alone within the family (Andrew York, Harry and Meghan Sussex) to keep it together and business as usual.

I really liked his speech, so kudos. 🥂

Did Arthur Chatto attend the Christmas church service?

TLLK

He was seen walking to the church that morning with the rest of the family.

There's a cute little video in the link below where Mia Tindall and Wolfie Mappelli-Mozzi are both offered gifts from the crowds outside the church.

Watch Wolfie copy his royal cousins ? and see Princess Beatrice's reaction! | HELLO!

QuoteAnd after being inspired by his cousin Mia, who happily accepted a gift from onlookers and then flashed what seemed to be a chocolate selection box at Wolfie, the little six-year-old wriggled loose from his father and stepmother's hands, to go and accept some goodies for himself.

Being new to the role of royal mum herself, Beatrice at first dispatched her husband Edoardo to follow little Wolfie and bring him back from the crowds. When it became clear that Wolfie had indeed been offered his own gift, the thankful mum made a dash herself to the generous royal fan who had shared the gift, to thank her personally for her generosity. Watch the sweet clip captured by The Barking Bugle in the video below.

That is just wonderful to read, hopefully there will be more info on where the church services are held and maybe some pictures along the way.

Annabel Elliot the sister of Queen Camilla is refurbishing Sandringham and Wood Farm cottage. Major changes not only in refurbishing all the rooms but also the Queen's family - her children and grandchildren will also spend Christmas at Sandringham.

Chris Ship reports that the ball room will be converted to a larger version of a dinning room - Christmas lunch - everyone together rather than children in one room, etc.  Everything else remains the same - Church and the walk King, Queen, POW's and minor royals.

Oh what a fun time the children will have, I remember eating in a seperate room during the holiday dinner from the adults, just the way my aunt wanted it, yet my cousin and I crept under the tablecloth in the dinning room .....a very cherished memory as I am sure all the children will have being allowed to eat or snack whatever during this time.  Bet there are dozens of silly stories to tell later with happy times.
