The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal President, the Children's Society, this afternoon visited Pause, 21 Digbeth, Birmingham, and was received by Mrs Louise Bennett (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands).

Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Edmonds Transplant Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Mindelsohn Way, Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Dr Derrick Anderson).

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Moira Depot, Railway Road, Moira, and was received by Mrs Susan Cunningham (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Ulster Aviation Society, Gate 3, Maze Long Kesh, 94 Halftown Road, Lisburn, and was received by Mr Peter Conway (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).

The Duke of Gloucester, Air Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, this evening held a Reception at Hillsborough Castle to mark the Centenary of 502 (Ulster) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Chester Civic Trust, Bishop Lloyd's Place, Watergate Row, Chester, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Chester Cathedral to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the opening of the Bell Tower by His Royal Highness.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon unveiled the Thomas Brassey statue at the Railway Station, City Road, Chester.

His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, subsequently visited St John Ambulance Cheshire Headquarters, Countess of Chester Health Park, Valley Drive, Liverpool Road, Chester.
