^Yes, I've seen some of the exhibits (short videos) twitter, gorgeous gardens with uneven flooring, rocky patches to go through, between ponds and the likes.

The Queen is dressed for the occasion. Sensible shoes too.

The King and Queen arrived about 30 minutes ago.

^She's the best, wearing granny tennis shoes.

I love gardens (and nature parks) so I'd also wear sensible shoes. Trivia: The Chelsea Flower Garden Show is 66 acres. I'd take the entire day and probably have lunch and Tea time walking all that.

The BBC have revealed that the first Chelsea Flower Show's Children's Picnic was The Princess of Wales' idea, inviting state schools to visit @The_RHS and be able to take in the nature as well as play in the gardens. -

^This inspired me to look at pictures of people attending the flower show from different eras and it puts wannable?s overdressed comment into perspective lol it?s cool to see people now mostly wearing outdoorsy gear and less formal clothes to an event that?s basically about master gardening because lol I?m a huge proponent of wear whatever makes you feel good regardless of the occasion, but stilettos here? Wouldn?t have advised it lol

Yes, sensible shoes are a must. I used to go pre Covid to the Melbourne city garden and flower show which was huge. Never been to the Chelsea one but in the 1950?s and 60s and prior to that it was part of the London Season?s calendar and as much a place to see and be seen as Ascot races. So I suppose people who weren?t particularly interested in gardening went just because of that.

I think the QM and QM were interested in gardening and would attend sometimes. I can?t imagine Queen Mary in informal outfits under any circumstances, though!

In her later years the QM would tour the Royal Chelsea Flower Show in an unusual form of transport, a golf buggy with herself all dressed up and with a ?chauffeur in a cap and uniform? to help.

IMO Bea is the best dressed so far, her heels are ''low block heel pumps''

HRH Princess Eugenie, Patron of @HoratiosGarden, Princess Beatrice and Edo visited the #ChelseaFlowerShow

📸 Princess Eugenie took the picture, hence she is not seen in this picture.
