Princess Cassandra

It's been such fun to read about the Earthshot awards and the Wales' trip to Boston, where I went to school and lived until my marriage. Especially interesting is that the winners are not well known, established companies and some are from developing countries.  I can't wait to see more next year!

Just Hellos speculation that they stayed in the suite.  No proof ( unless some one has some)

Royal/Global numbers are huge!

This and other videos of our @wbz #RoyalVisit in #Boston coverage currently trending worldwide with 750K+ views.

(btw as you can see here - the Royal motorcade was pulling out behind us as we wrapped up :))

They would need a large area with equerries, hairdresser, dresser, and valet coming in and out.  But I wish they had stayed at the Ritz with its old-world charm and its location right across the street from the Public Garden.

I love Boston, I have been there so many times it always felt like a very comfortable place to me. All the old history and the wharf and tea all over the place.  I don't mind the weather as I am a fall/winter girl and snow makes me a happy ole lady as I love walking in falling snow.  I loved the Wales experience there.....both did a fabulous job and I think the city was delighted with the event and them.  Seeing the heir and his wife and knowing the future is set with them in charge, I am sure HM was very pleased with both of them, seeing HM and her looking at Catherine with such love in her eyes is one picture I have saved here.  And knowing that Catherine is into early childhood development and how that affects the child when growing up will clearly be how she raises her children so that they will be ready for the responsibilities of the monarchy if they so chose that route in life.

Quite, the couple and usually senior working royals stay at the British Consular home IF IF there is one (it's cost saving, it's security in place), it's a given pattern.  There's a British Consulate in Boston.

Wow that is really nice, a one week retreat all expenses paid for by Earthshot.

Oh that is what I call really walking the talk.   Prince William really is amazing and taking the job to heart for his country.  No one can ever doubt that in the future he will make a fabulous king.

Jacinda Ardern joins The Earthshot Prize as a Trustee - The Earthshot Prize

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-65180096

QuoteJacinda Ardern has been appointed a trustee of the Prince of Wales' prestigious environment award, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Prince William said it was an honour to welcome the former leader of New Zealand to the Earthshot Prize.

Ms Ardern resigned in January saying she no longer had "enough in the tank" to lead the country.

The former prime minister said she was "humbled and excited to be working with the Earthshot team".

Speaking of the appointment, Prince William said Ms Ardern's "life-long commitment to supporting sustainable and environmental solutions" and her experience would "bring a rich infusion of new thinking to our mission".

"Four years ago, before the Earthshot Prize even had a name, Jacinda was one of the first people I spoke to, and her encouragement and advice was crucial to the prize's early success.

"I am hugely grateful to her for joining us as she takes the next steps in her career," he added.

Prince William has been to see the progress made in the fight against plastic pollution by London-based firm Notpla, which has upscaled since winning an Earthshot Prize in November. The company makes takeaway food containers and cutlery using seaweed instead of plastic.
