Yes, Action is what the Earshot Prize is all about.  Recap: 1 Million GBP to yearly winners during the next 10 years, they are people who are in the action; be it scientists or activists in the hot zones.

Prince William's team WILL have to carefully choose when, where and how long for each William at the Hot Zones to record each or some of the winners per year to showcase their work.  He won't be able to be at ALL the hotspots works or maybe yes, a new royal way of work and duties?! I think the later, many things will change with the modern monarchy.

Prince William spoke to seven young environmentalists from the UN Environment Programmes Young Champions of the Earth initiative to hear their perspectives on the environmental challenges facing our planet and the innovative solutions needed to address these issues.

The UN Environment Programme is a Global Alliance Partner of The Earthshot Prize, and shares our mission to incentivise change and inspire people all over the world to work together to repair the planet.

Young Champions of the Earth is UNEPs flagship youth engagement platform on the environment and aims to identify, celebrate, and support individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who demonstrate the potential to create positive environmental impact.

This Autumn, the BBC will be producing a 5 part series of *Earthshot: How To Save Our Planet.*

This is in partnership with Prince Williams EarthshotPrize & will culminate in the first award ceremony.

The first-ever Earthshot Prize awards ceremony will take place on October 17, 2021, at the iconic Alexandra Palace in London, with other famous landmarks across the UK's capital city also part of the historic event.

Broadcast to a global audience, the awards ceremony will celebrate the global Finalists before awarding the first five winners of The Earthshot Prize. These top five solutions will have the greatest impact on the biggest environmental challenges facing our planet and the winners will each receive 1 million pounds to scale their solutions.
