I remember seeing the formal Charter for Will and Kate, an extraordinarily beautiful medieval type document on parchment. I think it was issued for Press consumption about a week before the wedding. So if this follows virtually the same schedule, then Harry and Meghan's similar charter should be issued around May 12th.

I love it! The Tumblr people are beside themselves!

Yes @Curryong and in an earlier post I shared a link to the UK's only remaining firm that produces these types of documents. William and Kate's 2011 Charter included the floral symbols linked to the nation, a lily for St. Catherine (They married on her feast day.), William's Knight of the Garter insignia etc...I can't wait to see the final version issued for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. :happy17: :happy17: :Jen: :windsor1: However I expect it will take weeks before it is completed.

Also the full text for their charter was released today which is essentially the same as the letter but in grander language IMO.

^^^Yes IMO HM has shown through her actions that she approves of Meghan, though I believe that Meghan has been included in more family events because she's new to the UK and her family is back in the U.S./Mexico.  :) To not include her would be seen as being unfriendly toward her.

Glad to see that the Express was able to confirm that the language "trusty and well-beloved" language is reserved for citizens of the UK and other Commonwealth nations and that it is not a reflection upon Meghan.

Harry and Meghan have chosen their cake and cake maker (an American living in England.) The cake is going to be a non-traditional sponge cake, lemon elderflower flavour, covered with butter icing. It sounds beautiful.
