It's the Sussexes' event and therefore their decision to keep this information very private. IMO this further confirms to me that they intend to keep Archie's upbringing more private that the Cambridges, the Wessexes, Phillips and Tindalls have chosen to do so in recent years.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not tell fans who they have picked to be their son Archie's godparents.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released details about the christening, which will take place on Saturday, but have said they are keeping the names secret.

They've said this is "in keeping with their wishes".

They have also announced that they will release official photos from the day at a later point.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will do the christening at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle, and the couple have asked photographer Chris Allerton to take pictures on their special day.

The news will disappoint many royal fans who were looking forward to seeing snaps of the Sussexes arrive at the service.

A statement, released by Buckingham Palace today, reads: "Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will be christened in a small private ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday 6 July.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex look forward to sharing some images taken on the day by photographer Chris Allerton.

"The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private."

One key member - the Queen - will not be there because of prior commitments, the Sunday Times reports.

As just one example of the harassment received by private individuals when linked by the media to the Sussexes, Lauren Mishcon was falsely reported to be Meghan's doula for the Royal birth. Then her life 'imploded', she stated.

Harry and Meghan have their own office, it's weird that BP is having any announcements. Time will tell.

It's not that weird as BP handles the announcements for the Princess Royal and the Earl and Countess of Wessex. When Charles' reign begins, BP will likely to continue handling those announcements for the Sussexes, the PR and the E/CoW.

Yes, but Cambridges have been and will continue to be making their own announcements much like Charles has been doing as the PoW. The Sussexes will be like the Princess Royal and the Wessexes in which the monarch will handle their announcements.  :)

Next year's British Grand Prix is set to be moved, avoiding a direct clash with the Wimbledon men's singles final (Kate) and football's (William) Euro 2020 final at Wembley.
PA understands two dates have been mooted by Formula One for the Silverstone race, the final weekend in June and the week following the conclusion of Wimbledon and the Euros.

I think this is a positive news of moving the dates, Prince Harry is the F1 Silverstone, England Patron.  It not only clashes with Wimbledon, but inevitably it was also the same day of the One Off Premier of the Lion King.  (No royal gave the price and trophy)

If successfully moved with all countries/parties involved, next year 2020 we will see Kate in Wimbledon, one week later William at Wembley for the European Cup, one week later Harry at Silverstone.

No details released yet by Palace, but @chrisshipitv reports the tour will start September 23rd in Cape Town, South Africa.

A source close to the palace told Fabulous Digital: ?The Duchess will stay with her son, who will be just under  five months old when the visit takes place.

?The Duke will be travelling in a very small plane to Botswana, Angola and Malawi and due to the size of the aircraft and some remote locations that Harry will be visiting, it is not possible to take a small baby.?

The insider also confirmed that Meghan and Archie will continue their stay in South Africa rather than travel back to the UK.
