On February 15, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Oranje Fonds in Utrecht on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. During the visit, the King and Queen spoke with representatives of social initiatives supported by the Orange Fund about their development, their challenges and plans. The Royal Couple are patrons of the fund that was presented to them in 2002 as a wedding gift.

iKing Willem-Alexander has invited two survivors and four relatives of the Hercules disaster for a meeting at Huis ten Bosch Palace today, February 22.

In July 1996 the Hercules disaster took place at Eindhoven Air Base. "The disaster with the Belgian C-130 Hercules killed 34 people on board. In addition to the four Belgian crew members, the transport aircraft was carrying 37 mostly young members of the Fanfare Corps of the Dutch Royal Army".

Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the !WOON Foundation in Amsterdam today, february 24. She talked to "younger and older home seekers, particularly in the rental sector, about the tightness in the housing market".

It's NL Doet Day(s) which is a day in which everyone in the country is asked to do volunteer work and typically there are several members of the DRF who participate. Today it's Princess Beatrix helping at a school garden. I'd expect that more family members will be seen on Saturday.

During the spring cleaning at Zorgboerderij Op Aarde in Brielle, King Willem-Alexander, Queen M?xima and volunteers help during NLdoet with pruning the pear trees, cleaning the garden furniture, mucking out the animal houses and cleaning the interior spaces of the care farm.

March 17, King Willem-Alexander virtually talked with the staff of the Dutch embassy in Ukraine about their safety and well-being of themselves and their families. Some Dutch employees and their families have returned to the Netherlands, some Ukrainian employees have been able to leave, but "a number of employees chose to stay in Kyiv due to personal circumstances":

Queen Maxima in her role as a UN Advocate for Financial Inclusion is on a two day trip to Washington D.C. Here's she's meeting with US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. (Sec. Yellen having realized that she could not compete with Maxima when it comes to accessories opted for a less is more option. Not sure if that's an applique on Maxima's top or a brooch. Good thing that Max opted not to wear her spiders. ) :wink:
