I'd say he is.

Royals don't attend during weekends, only if the rain delay of day 1 and 2 will make a few appearances happen.  Usually we see extended family from Kate and friends from both William and Harry, military personnel and celebrities (although tomorrow I'm sure they will all prefer to be watching the Euro2021 Football, England will be playing so expect a lot of front page news, win or otherwise, the UK fans are quite loud).

Here's the Patron and the President together today in the Royal Box having a chat.

@wannable-I only recall the Queen being present at a finals match back in the 1970's. However her father George VI was definitely a fan in his younger years.  Otherwise excluding the Kents,  the only BRF members I recall attending with any regularity were Diana and Catherine.

Wimbledon weekend is Saturday.  Royals don't go, they only go to a Saturday Final. Wimbledon doesn't play Sunday, only if there is a very serious delay.

The Sunday no play will change from 2022, a new agreement with the town of Wimbledon.

Wimbledon isn?t a separate town. It?s a suburb of Greater London within the borough of Merton. It?s also surrounded by other suburbs regarded as being outer London.

Middle Sunday was implemented as a deal with local residents: The men?s final was long played on a Saturday, but when organizers wanted to move it to Sunday, the community around the All England Club ? a quiet and residential area ? said a day of rest must still be had. So a deal was struck for what we know now as Middle Sunday.

Queen Mary apparently liked watching tennis and would go to Wimbledon occasionally. Mildly astonishing to me, but I suppose her son Bertie (who was a very good player) got her interested in the sport.

Another top team performance and clean sheet from @England tonight. #ThreeLions. Well played to Ukraine. Can't wait for Wednesdays semi final! Onwards W

Macrobug67

So the next game is on Wed in London.  And the final is on the 11th also in London.   Any bets that William will be there at both games?   :teehee:

She will very likely miss out the WImbledon Final, trophy ceremony.

Prince William has confirmed he will once again be at Wembley tomorrow to cheer on England in their semi final versus Denmark.

^ Also at the England vs Denmark #EURO2020 Match will be Crown Prince Frederik, Princess Mary & Prince Christian of Denmark, who are traveling to the UK as official representatives of Denmark.

Then should Spain win its match with Italy, I am positive that King Felipe and possibly Queen Letizia will be at the final against the winner of the England/Denmark match. They've typically attended high profile sports finals when there is a Spanish athlete or team. Great time for royal watching during the 2021 Euro Cup.

wannable

Yes very likely, Italy and Spain starts play in about 3.5 hours.  Pundits and football commentators think Italy will win.

wannable

^ So the expert pundits/commentators were right with their analysis, Italy won 2-1 Spain.

1-1 if it goes on tied for the next 20 minutes, it will be the dreaded sudden death, penalty shots.

Prince Christian taller than William?

From that angle he does appear to be taller than William who I believe is 6'3".

Congratulations to England!!!!
