HRH Prince Edward to Visit Crewe to Open College and Arts and Sports Academy

Prince Edward is to visit Crewe on Tuesday, April 16.

The Earl of Wessex will officially unveil South Cheshire College's state-of-the-art campus, meet Cheshire East Council's Apprentice A-Team as well as open the new premises of the Cheshire Academy of Integrated Sport and Arts based on Broad Street.

For the college opening on Dank Bank Avenue he will be joined by college governors, local dignitaries, staff and students at the showcase event.

His Royal Highness Prince Edward Unveils South Cheshire College's £74M Campus

His Royal Highness the Earl of Wessex visited the college as part of a day-long tour of Crewe, which also saw him visit Bentley, meet Cheshire East Councils Apprentice A-Team and open the new premises of the Cheshire Academy of Integrated Sport and Arts on Broad Street.

During the visit to South Cheshire College, Prince Edward met staff and students across different departments, including hair and beauty, film and media and performing arts.

He also visited students in the colleges Independent Living flat, a specialist facility for students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
His visit culminated with the unveiling of a special plaque to declare the building officially open.
