QuoteHow to watch:
This year's ceremony will take place on 11 June 2011.
The processions can be seen from from the Mall. Events begin at approximately 10.00am, with the fly-past at 1.00pm.
The parade is also broadcast live on the BBC in the UK.
Tickets for seated stands around Horse Guards Parade are allocated by ballot in March. Applications should be made in January or February only to:

Brigade Major
HQ Household Division
Horse Guards
Whitehall
London
SW1A 2AX

A rehearsal (known as The Colonel's Review) usually takes place a week before the actual Birthday Parade.

Members of the public wishing to watch are advised to stand on The Mall or on the edge of St James's Park overlooking Horse Guards (their view may be somewhat obscured by troops in this position) from 9.00am.

For those of us who can't be there, I suppose at least some of it will be posted on the Monarchy's YouTube channel?

^Yes, hopefully by tomorrow evening. They are rather quick in uploading.  I'll try via BBC International, which I have in my DIRECTV package.

Indeed, most likely within hours videos will begin to appear on the internet. Live coverage can be obtained on the BBC website, though I am not sure if it will be available to viewers outside the United Kingdom.

German and Australian TV normally broadcast the event live, might I suggest looking into them?

Yes, I was able to watch the wedding on the BBC website, so I hope they transmit the trooping. PW will be riding for the first time too.

^Short live coverage.   I understand right at this moment, the Royal family is at the Buckingham Palace (balcony) to watch the flypast.

Absolutely splendid!

Loved the down-the-line picture of William, PC, Duke of Kent, & Anne on horseback!

Kate

Thank you Kinga77.. Terrific shots. However, I feel those photos of Catherine, she is over achieving and very prominent . or animated!!   It's like a feeling of her trying to fit in too quickly...Bending over speaking with the children ; covering her face, standing alone on one balcony ..I mean it's all very interesting to see she feels she belongs already, but  too much too soon,..IMO

I love Sophie's outfit.. She looks marvellous as does little Louise..There are many people I don't recognize on the balcony..
