I think now that William and Catherine are finally engaged we can discuss what dress we would like to see the lovely bride wear  :hearts: so post your best suggestions gals from the dress; Vail;tiara;jewelry;shoes ; to the way you want her to do her hair/makeup .

And i just wanted to tell you that i  have created this thread so we can have fun so please no catfights  :catfight: be nice to one another .

I like this dress, and I think get dress will need a bit of volume to it but not too much, because otherwise it may end up drowning her.

*Just realised that Sassi Holford designed Autumn's dress as well.

I like the idea of the dress having lace as I think lace can look beautiful on a wedding dress.

This tiara is beautiful, it was a gift from the Queen to Princess Diana (however it has been worn by Camilla)

She won't wear Wang.  The designer is definitely going to be British. Marchesa?  I love their red carpet looks and the have a bridal line. Look under Bridal

Issa's Bridal dresses are very plain. they wouldn't work for a royal wedding...obviously kate would get something made for her..I'm not sure if it's the designer's aesthetic though: Issa Bridal

Whatever the dress...it has to have a serious train.  A. SERIOUS. TRAIN. Think of all those aerial shots!

Sana Camilla has never worn that Tiara someone had photoshopped it on the net. Camilla has only worn the Durbar Tiara that was Queen Mary's.

I would love for her to wear the Lovers knot Tiara that Diana wore with a romantic dress designed around the Tiara. I think something based on the design of HM's wedding dress would look fabulous with dainty slippers. I would love to see her hair done in a romantic up do that frames a face with less harsh make up then she normally wears.

Great Trudie, I really hope she wears that Tiara, because it is truly beautiful, and i think it would be appropriate considering it was a gift from HM to her daughter in law and if Kate wore it, it would be as if Diana had gifted it to her daughter in law

I would love to see Kate in something simple, soft and romantic, with her hair curled and half-up/half down, again very simple, maybe with an old fashioned veil, something that sits on top of her head with no head piece, and doesn't cover her face

Some lovely dresses have been posted on this thread! (except the mop.)

I hope Kate keeps it simple and doesn't choose anything that remotely resembles a meringue.  I would love to see lots of lace and pearls, but nothing too spangly.  The veil could help to keep her hair in place which, if worn long, could perhaps be styled in coils down her back, with a little softness around her face and I hope, when it comes to her make-up, she will lose that awful too-hard eyeliner.

I was wondering if she could choose a very pale coloured fabric for her dress, like the palest hint of pink or lemon.
