Prince Joachim made a visit to a gay bar in Denmark. Marie was not with him. She was probably busy with her Danish lessons. :P

Thanks for the link, Countessa! :flower:

There are few royals who have not visited a gay bar, I would think! I hear they make the best drinks and have the best dancing...

Huh? Why'd you bring that up? I saw no mention of Ship Inn anywhere

The Slip Inn is the bar in Sydney where Frederik(Joachim's brother) and his now wife Mary met in 2000.

Yeah, wasn't it The Slip Inn, not Ship Inn. I think so, anyway...

Yes, that much is clear. What we are trying to discover, however, is how that is relevant to the topic - Joachim's visit to the Code bar.

I don't know...it just sprang to mind. It's a bar...Danish people went there...you join the dots :yessir:

Maybe he was being supportive for a friend?  :pardon:

Lillianna

I thought they were perhaps having a warmup to his bachelor party. But I think it would probably be a cool place to just hang out. :) I don't think he thought the paps would be looking for him there.

moley

So what are they saying he is Gay..

Jenee

No, I don't think that's what they are saying. I think they are trying to make a big deal out of it for the drama though.

Not a big deal!

My goodness, if visiting a gay bar makes someone gay then I must be Nathan Lane by now!  :whoopdeedoo:

moley

It means testing the waters most striaght men would rather not unless they there with a girl friend for their fanny shows....

sillyjobug

^I disagree, moley. It depends on the man. Some are comfortable enough in their masculinity to go into a gay bar with friends, others are not. I suppose Joachim is.
