Good thoughts, Curryong. I agree. The whole Marius scandal seems unnecessary. The parents and the step-parent of such a troubled child could not find or use any resources, of which many were at their disposal, to help Marius improve in terms of his mental health. I find it hard to believe. How does the stepson of a King end up in criminal court? Other parents have done better with much less in similar circumstances. The Shaman episode is equally disturbing. I am not supposed the Crown is struggling in terms of popularity. I wonder when the King will abdicate. It's painful to watch an ailing King move through his duties.

Update on the Queen's health
Her Majesty The Queen had a pacemaker inserted today. The procedure was successful, and The Queen is doing well.

The Queen will be in hospital for one to two days. 16.01.2025
