l've allways wonder ...why is harry called hazza?

Hi smilelikeJulie, :hi: welcome to the Forum!

Harry is called 'Hazza' because it's one of his nicknames. He's also called Haz, Hot Ginge, Hot Ginger, and for those who want to be more formal, Prince Hot Ginge! :laugh:

In the past he's been called Big Ginger ( :P guess why, eh ) and P.Hizzy, although P.Hizzy is really old, that was his nickname in 2003.

Also, it's common in Britain to coin a nickname for someone by turning consonants into Zs. Gareth becomes Gazza, Jeremy, Jezza, etc.

...cute nick-names...I also read in an article quite a while back that "a pet or private code" nick-name from Harry to Chelsy via facebook was "chicken" ....I would elaborate, but I will be a Southern Lady and leave it at that....he-he.... :mbb:......
