Forum upgrade

I will be attempting a forum software upgrade shortly.

During this time the forum will be in maintenance mode and you will not have access to the forum.

Most of the upgrade is finished now.

There is more to do with the themes and some may not work now. If your theme does not work please report it here and try to find one that works in Profile/look and layout/forum or board default change.

The babylon theme is missing something.

Some of the smilies didn't load either.

The smileys are in different folders.

With the royal folder the Cheesy one and six others are mising. Is that the same with you. If they are the same ones missing with you I'll put them in this folder and they should work OK.

I was in the Non-royal forums and only two of the child boards were marked as if there were new replies or posts inside. Off Topic for instance didn't seem to have any new replies or posts but when I entered there were several of them.
Also, I miss the distinction between pinned topics and regular topics. It's kind of disorienting without that distinction.

Other than that the forum looks pretty neat :flowers:

All the new themes suitable for the upgrade have been loaded.

You can find them in Profile/look and layout/forum or board default change.

The ones below Babylon, about half way down should be OK.

Some of the themes do work a bit differently now.

VBGreen and orange lt, two of the new themes separate out sticky threads. There may be some others.

Hey Hippi...

Sorry but MStar would prefer the PM limit to stay for now. We're still working out exactly how low it should be, but right now it is set at 20 PMs per hour and only 3 recipients per PM.
