Thanks for that Windsor.  By all accounts he was really looking forward to meeting her.  I feel a bit sorry for old Johnny.  He was in London meeting Tony Blair when the newest bombing attack occurred....he was also in Washington when Sept 11th occurred. Maybe he's feeling a bit like it's an omen of some sort? :P

Did you see the chandelier????...Wow..it's huge!!

Yes, the chandelier is very nice and indeed the room itself ^_^

Wombat

I like the chairs too..but that carpet :o ..it's just gawd-awful..some one should tell them to replace it..perhaps someone could include it in her 80th bday letter to HM ;)  :P

Windsor

You don't like the carpet? :o

Why?

I love it ^_^

I don't like carpets with patterns etc on them <_< They're only good for nightclubs, bars  and casinos B) You don't see the stains as easily on a patterned carpet :D

and unless Hm has roaring parties where people throw up (which i doubt   ) then I'm sure there's got to be a less "busy" carpet for that room :D

Windsor

I really don't think Her Majesty hosts those kind of parties :happytears:

Wombat

I doubt she would as well.....perhaps something a little more sedate is her cup of tea. :D

I hadn't thought of that you know....he wasn't in Bali thought right?
I've always wondering if he is really a strong monarchist, or wether he just doesn't want to be in power have to deal with Australia becoming a republic?
And Wombat? HM totally dons a wig and glasses to party with Chelsy! :P
I actually know someone who ran into his grandfather at a nightclub once!

No..he's always been in favour of the monarchy.  He's actually what I would call a staunch monarchist. :D

Who??? Prince Philip???? :o

Thanks Wombat, I didn't know that. I figured he might be, but I wasn't sure- being PM would be a messy job when the country underwent such a change.
I think Prince Phillip seems cool, but I doubt William and Harry run into him clubbing    It happened to my cousin!
