The Queen doesn't go to Balmoral until the very end of July and returns in early September. Those dates are kept to every year, bar emergencies. The Trooping marks the Queen's Official Birthday on June 10th and June is indeed a busy month. I wasn't suggesting that Gabriella's wedding would be in June, merely that the Court keeps to Windsor for May and much of June. My guess for the wedding is probably May.

I agree that likely there would perhaps be some video of any arrivals/departures but mostly it would be photo coverage much like we saw with Frederick's wedding.
IMO Lady Gabriella is one of the loveliest and stylish members of the BRF for her generation. I'm hoping to see a Kent tiara on display that day.

I agree. It is my favorite of the two that she wore that day.
I also think she can really carry off a hat!
That wedding was the gold standard in second weddings for a couple of a certain age. Both the civil and blessing dresses were spot on. The music was also impressive (no surprise given Charles' musical interests). That Russian contralto really sang beautifully.

Absolutely! The Court undertook their usual meticulous planning for weddings and other formal, royal events and removed or added touches to make it appropriate for a second marriage. The result was amazing, especially since the day had to be changed at the last minute. It was wonderful right down to the last humorous video of William and Harry, having decorated the car windows, throwing confetti or something at them as they got into their car to leave the reception.

I wonder if the DOS will prefer to be off to another location during the weekend. The Reception party at Frogmore House may be quite rowdy until the wee hours.
Considering the aircraft going over from Heathrow every few minutes I'd say that the windows at Frogmore Cottage and many of them at the Castle would be soundproofed.
I'm sure Gabriella's wedding will be lovely. Considering it's a private affair though, it's debatable how much we will be seeing. I don't think photos of the reception will be turning up in Hello either. None of the Queen's relatives have repeated Peter Phillips' little experiment in that direction since.

Absolutely a fabulous wedding, the bride is so beautiful and I love her gown the best of all I have seen. It was soft, romantic, and flowing. No sharp edges, no modern twists nor plain and simple, just a fairy tale gown for a beautiful lady. And best of all from what I have read about the wedding, NO Hollywood, no Oprah,, no George, No Gail King wanting her 2 cents in front of a camera......now this was dignified and just full of family celebrating a member's happiness. That is how a wedding should be.
