Its an article written by Richard Kay
Quotefollowing the recent round of negative headlines relating to Harry's allegedly drunken fracas with a paparazzo outside Boujis nightclub, the Queen told a courtier: "My grandson is a pain".
.....Lila will send it out when either Wombat or myself get it :)
ouch!
Oh my gosh! I certainly hope she didn't say that. That's awful.
Maybe she said "My possible granddaughter-in-law (KM) is a pain!" :lmao:
^ i believe not only Queen who feel that kate was a pain?! but also us :happytears:
Hey, that was a wild weekend, she could have made that in reference to either one of them.

yeah, and for all we know maybe peter did something we dont kno about...
Well it sounds like what any Granmother would say when her grandson acts up. It's not like she said This is my "annus horribillis!!!
Which one?
Yes I was thinking that too.... Which one. :windsor1: :Royal:
And the expected  bad/negative article about Harry.
IF IF she said that... than jeez that is really harsh. And I do not believe the Queen would say that about either of them to anyone who could leak it to the press. The Queen values the family unit as a whole and I seriously doubt she would let slip something that would just add more the the already shaky family picture the Windsors have. :notamused:
And leave it to the press to automatically make the supposed comment about Harry, and not the "golden boy" William.
^ agreed!
IF the Queen were to say that about either of them, than I think it is more directed at William than Harry. (I'm a Willite by the way) Because so far Harry has done more and shown up to more royal events in the recent past than William has. EIther than or she was refering to her grandsons recent behavior as a whole.
But again I do not believe she actually said this. For the above post of mine's reasons. :notamused:
If it was said at all, it is also possible that it was said jokingly. She even could have been referring to the lastest joke played on her by her grandson(s).

I posted this in the QEII thread the other day
"My grandson is a pain" or "Hes a pain" etc, etc is not always meant in a bad way...
Yeah, like when I say that about Windsor :teehee:

when is that a good way to describe someone? :hmm: i dont know which idea i like least.....that the Queen really did say this, or that someone's made it up. either way it's pissed me off and i never thought i get mad at the Queen. :notamused:
 it could either be William or Harry....heck I bet its both....why would that piss you off? I agree with the Queen....Will and Harry act less than a dignified senior royal......heck they even put the Monaco Young Royals 2 shame....and we know Princess Charlotte son's party equally hard....but make sure not 2 stumble out of clubs drunk.....then again....Andrea does attack the papz....just like Harry
^because if she did say it, why should she say it to some courtier who could pass it on to the press. why not take it to the grandson himself? or is helping out, offering advice to and showing concern for family members too much of a "pain" to deal with? <_<
and if she didnt say it then making this up is just.....arrgh! :gaah:
I agree....the Queen only lets the news she wants 2 get out do so....I highly doubt she said it....and if she did....probably it was not 2 any particular courtier....but in passing 2 her husband or close friend.....which means s/o eaves dropped and sold it
Maybe her back is playing up again and she named that body part Harry?
My feet are called Mona and Rona :fool:
I don't believe this article one bit...
in several years, the boys making a lot of trouble than the girls (wait...... "grandson", <this mean including Peter Phillips?)
No....just Harry..he may be painful but it's a pain I'd like to have :wub2:
:teehee:
