Princess Diana remained meticulous in her public duties. Would she say she was fanatically punctual?

^^^^To be honest all royal engagements are typically planned far in advance with by a team which would include Royal Protection Officers, local police force, civic leaders, drivers and the royal secretaries etc...It really takes a small army to coordinate these events, so unless there are truly unforeseen problems then most royals are punctual.

What I have read about Diana is that she tried to be very organized in her correspondence and note taking when planning her day, week, months etc...On the other hand, Charles had the reputation of being less diligent than his ex-wife.

:goodpost: Diana and her staff was called the "A" team and Charles was the "B" team in terms of correspondence, efficiently handling paperwork and such, in terms of the rivalry between the two staffs as they started to separate into their own staff and camps, effectively.
"No other member of the Royal Family mattered that year, or I think for the next 17 years, it was just her." Arthur Edwards, The Sun Photographer, talking about Diana's impact.
