The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning received General Gwyn Jenkins (Vice Chief of the Defence Staff) to discuss the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Debra, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Beaumont, 8 Balderton Street, Brown Hart Gardens, London W1.

Major General James Bowder (General Officer Commanding London District) was received by The King this afternoon.

Lieutenant General Sir Robert Fulton was received by The King and delivered up to His Majesty the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall was received by The King when His Majesty handed to him the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office upon his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

The King and Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment played selections of music during the afternoon.

Later, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of His Majesty.

It was good to see Harry back in the UK. Ignoring that his own father did nothing to show any sort of caring, it was good to see some relatives at the Invictus service at St Paul's, namely his Spencer uncle and aunt. His mother's brother and sister offered love and support. It was also great to see Harry interacting with crowds gathered around St Paul's. And he dined with a friend the evening before. So, that at least was something.
