Dutch court's New Year's Reception

The Dutch New Year reception was wonderful! I like how there was a lot of recognition for the teachers & administrators who are involved in the primary and secondary schools. They do a lot to ensure that the children have the best education they can so that they can flourish in society.

King holds New Year reception in palace

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima shake hands Tuesday lot of guests from the Dutch society, especially people from education. At the traditional New Year Reception are Princess Beatrix and Princess Margriet present in the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Pieter van Vollenhoven arrived Tuesday at 16.30 as the last of the royal family in the palace.

The teachers and administrators in primary and secondary education were met on arrival by military police at the entrance to the palace. The New Year reception, for which politicians and dignitaries have been invited, located inside the Citizens place. The king will give a speech at this annual occasion.

Wednesday will there be a reception for the diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations. Queen Máxima then immediately go to Davos for the World Economic Forum (WEF). There they will remain until Friday in her role as special advocate for the UN Secretary General in making financial services more accessible
