Princess Beatrice visited the theatre on Tuesday this week, in her role as patron of the place and was there to learn more about the theatre and its upcoming redevelopment.

During her visit, the 26-year-old granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth spoke to the cast and crew of upcoming show Old Mother Goose, who took a break from their dress rehearsal to meet the Princess and have their picture taken with her. One of the cast members, Berwick Kaler, had dressed up like Princess Beatrice's ancestor, Queen Victoria, which brought an even bigger smile to the Princess's face.
