Alice, I really recommend you change your theme to one of the new ones. The old themes are not set up to work with the new software, so that might be where your problems are coming from.

I am having problems staying logged in, whenever I try to refresh the page it shows that I am a guest. In addition, it shows that date as January 30, and when I try going into the recent posts, it shows the last post I wrote on February 1. I have deleted my cookies, but what else can I do fix this problem?

I would recommend you try installing a different browser and trying that.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Firefox is a good one.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx

Internet Explorer 7 is an upgrade from version 6.

http://www.opera.com/

Opera is also a good browser.

All of these are free.
