The final was played at the Caja Mágica venue, which was bathed in a lovely Spanish sunshine, and in the stands was the Queen consort of Spain, Sofía.

She had the pleasure of enjoying an exciting tennis match between two of the best players in the world, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray. Sharing nationality with Nadal, it's very likely that Sofía was cheering for him, but this wasn't enough, seeing as Murray won a clear victory over the Spaniard. :blush:
