Title: Loseley Park
Post by: LouisFerdinand on February 07, 2016, 10:43:12 PM
In 1562, leading courtier Sir William More began to rebuild his Surrey manor house at the request of Queen Elizabeth I.
Blocks of worked stone from the Cistercian monastery at Waverly Abbey were used.
Queen Elizabeth I visited Loseley House four times.
