I think they are exercising HM's horses for her (I think they are Norwegian Fjord ponies). What a lovely place to ride!

It was just a few shorts weeks ago that we all had to isolate and social distance; it seems like another year ago. Our lives have changed and hopefully life will return to normal soon. In the meantime someone like HRH can make isolated families feel less alone.

It not going to return to normal soon.  At best it will be some months and even if the virus stops spreading or they have a vaccine by then, I think that there will be  a massive recession which is going to impact on all of us.  I think people will be more reluctant to go places or on holidays.. because of the trauma of it all...

Lady Louise has been spotted enjoying an early morning horse ride with her father, Prince Edward, for the first time since lockdown began in March.

The 16-year-old joined her dad, 56, on a canter around the grounds of Windsor today and the father-and-daughter looked to be enjoying the fresh air and exercise.

Much of the work carried out by some members of the royal family can go unnoticed by the public.

Whilst royal dramas generate bigger headlines, perhaps it is time to turn our attention to the important work being carried out by the Countess of Wessex. This year, there has been a growing recognition of the work done by Sophie who works tirelessly behind-the-scenes and has become patron for multiple charities and organisations often with little fanfare.

The main areas that the countess supports young people with disabilities, avoidable blindness, agriculture and prevention of sexual violence in conflicted areas.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex was today self-isolating at home after coming into contact earlier this week with someone who has now tested positive for coronavirus.

The 55-year-old wife of Prince Edward is not experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 but is said to be following all relevant Government guidelines.

Sophie is not thought to have seen any members of the wider Royal Family since she met the unnamed person who has subsequently tested positive.
