The Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited Walton Charity's community projects at Burview Hall, Walton-on-Thames, and was received by Ms Christine Howard (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived in South Africa and, having been received upon arrival at Johannesburg O R Tambo International Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa (His Excellency Mr Antony Phillipson), subsequently undertook the following engagements in Pretoria.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Biodiversity and Conservation Luncheon at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards visited Pretoria National Botanical Garden, 2 Cussonia Street, Brummeria.

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, later attended a Reception in the garden of the Residence of the British High Commissioner to celebrate the success of the President's Award.

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception in support of the International Science Partnership at the Residence.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning called upon Mr Paul Mashatile (Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa) at OR Tambo House, Bryntirion Estate, Pretoria, South Africa.

His Royal Highness afterwards departed OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, for St Helena and was received upon arrival this afternoon at St Helena International Airport by the Governor of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha (His Excellency Air Commodore Nigel Phillips).

The Duke of Edinburgh later attended a Meeting via video link with the Chief Islander of Tristan de Cunha (Mr James Glass) and the Administrator (Mr Philip Kendall).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting in the Governor's Office at Plantation House with the Hon Julie Thomas (Chief Minister of St Helena).

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception at Plantation House in recognition of St Helena's participation in Commonwealth and other International Sporting Events.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Wellbeing of Women, this morning attended a Menstrual Health Workshop at Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich, Homestall Road, London SE22, and was received by Mrs Lynn Cooper (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this afternoon received Dr Andrew Cooper (Chief Executive Officer, Vision Catalyst Fund).

His Royal Highness this morning visited Longwood House and, having been received by Mr Michel Dancoisne-Martineau (Honorary French Consul), subsequently visited Napoleon's Tomb, Longwood.

The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by representatives of the Blue Belt Programme, later embarked in the boat EGALITE at Jamestown Wharf to view the marine life.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited St Helena's Active Participation in Enterprise charity at Sandy Bay.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards visited Millennium Forest, Longwood, and met representatives from St Helena National Trust.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception held by the Governor at Plantation House for business leaders, charities and members of the local community.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, Awareness Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at St James?s Palace.

His Royal Highness was received later upon arrival at Royal Air Force Ascension Island by His Honour Simon Minshull (Administrator, Ascension Island Government).

The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Reception with representatives of the local community. His Royal Highness this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Ascension Island. Brigadier Alexander Potts was in attendance.
