From the pictures, it doesn't look like there's much leg room.  Rule of thumb in my car ... the tallest sits in the front.

Cindy
Top of the range Jaguar - plenty of room in the back - I think this was done on purpose  - just in case photographers were around to capture Kate and Charles looking - oh so close - however their expressions say it all IMO.  William looks in a right mood - serves him right - he made his bed!

You're right ... what was I thinking?  It's obviously a plot, like everything else.  :P  Look at the picture ... I don't care if it's a Jaguar or stretch limousine ... it doesn't look like there's a lot of leg room for a 6'3" man.  Why not be more comfortable in the front seat?  Who sits in the back with Kate is not such a big deal.  I've sat in the back seat with my father-in-law ... there was no other reason than it was more comfortable for my mother-in-law to be in the front.  :sigh:

William always looks pensive though these days and I hope he has made the right decision but Kate looks like she has won the lottery and he looks like he is handing over the cheque.

People don't smile 24/7.  Especially when riding in a car, unless everyone is laughing and joking, people pretty much have no expression.  Watch the drivers next time you're out and about ... I'd be very surprised if they're all driving around with big grins on their faces.

Just wondering ... why is it that every single bit of news is turned into some sort of criticism about Kate or about the relationship between William and Kate?

One could ask the same question - Why is every bit of news regarding Kate (and William) - turned into such a positive and how wonderful she is and how wonderfully she is doing!!! Man alive!
Cinrit,  I think you need to start backing-up your statements, instead of trying to criticise others -  in other words edit  :)

The royal family always get criticized for whatever they do.
But hey, I'm glad it's them and not me.

Cindy,
We are humans,we never think the same because of many things:

1)The family
2)The friends
3)The country or the city one is

Still even if one is in the same family not all members think the same.I don't share some opinions about somethings like my father or brothers.
I think one should just accept the fact that not all people see picture, videos and news of one public person the same way and respect one another.

There is opinion and there is supposition and there is outright disrespect.  I've seen a lot of disrespect creeping into posts ... the mocking of members of the Royal Family, mocking of the future wife of one of the Royal Family, and even saying that she doesn't deserve respect.  Why are there rules here, then, if they don't have to be followed?

Kindly refrain from making personal attacks on other posters. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if they disagree with yours. Thank you.  :truce:

Raisie

Well somehow i wish someone could attack me for make critic of William or other members of the royal family in the same way i do to Kate.
But no one ever attack me for make some critics of William or any other (sorry for say this but that is the truth).
They are humans and somehow i get angry to them as well but no one ever told me disrespectful to them that in the way i did to Kate (i am not saying you Cindy but others).
Somehow i found strange that,i don't know why   :hmm:

It's a good thing, isn't it? If no one is attacking you? :)

Raisie

Yes it is,somehow but still wonder why people get more offended with Kate.

^ what do you mean...i have my reservations about her...but we should be happy for them...i guess in any other circumstance we would criticize them ( criticizing is not just talking about the negative....but also the postive) tis the way of life....im sure kate like any other woman would have wanted to have her fiancee in the back with her....but given the circumstance of the car ...she couldnt..they couldnt...its not like they had a choice.

I know but i am talking of the critics not of couple but when comes separated. When i do a critic of any member (anyone) of the Royal Family i never get attack nor no one ever told me "you don't know them, how dare you.Who do you think you are" still when i do it with Kate,i do receive those words.

^ i guess it due to many of the royals are already criticized and comes with the territory...but i think its more so of what about her you criticize than her as a regular person. meaning what she does...just picking at tiny pieces of her.?

REAL LOVE AT LAST!!!

Raisie

Probably i should keep make critic of the royals  :teehee: and none of Kate just keep having peace with people.I am Royalist and i am more than sure that royals know that critics are something good and not bad, that is what makes them what they are

I promise i won't touch Kate :doublewave:

As with everything, it's not what is said, but how it's said.  Constructive criticism can be a good thing.  Mocking, picking, criticizing with derision and contempt, constant complaints about everything ... these are the criticisms that are questionable.  And if someone points out that a particular comment is disrespectful, to answer with "she doesn't deserve respect", this is demoralizing.  Every living person on this planet deserves respect unless they've committed some horrible crime, and I think we all know what those are.

Re: Criticisms of the Royals v. Criticisms of Kate

IMO, most criticisms of Kate are constructive.  We've watched this woman for 8 years basically do nothing but wait for William to put a ring on her finger.  She seems more interested in making sure her hair looks nice than in developing any sort of skills or useful traits.  She attracted William using sex (that see-through dress was meant to be worn over a slip) and she has held onto him by feeding his fragile ego.

But...

there are some criticisms of KM that seem to exist just because she is .  And so, while Charles may be criticized for his treatment of Diana, or Prince Andrew will be criticized for his choice in friends, Kate seems to be criticized just for exisiting.  I've seen people on other forums criticize the color of her hair.

Now, on the flip side, I've seen the opposite.  Kate being praised to the skies for simply existing.  I believe in giving credit where credit is due, but there is some over-the-top fawning over everything this woman does.  So while the RF is praised or criticized for what they do, Kate is praised/criticized simply for being

Cinrit.......just say your peace and ignore.  Everyone has their favourites and their dislikes.  If you read any thread about Prince Charles you would think he was the Anti-Christ to some.

If you look at the Forum Statistic page  you will notice that the most active board is W&K. Clearly this is the couple most members have a lot to say about.  There were many members who genuinely believed that these two would never become engaged or marry, some are having difficulties in coming to terms with that.

By the way, the Jaguar doesn't have a mini-bar, and franky the suggestions about the relationship between Charles and Kate are bordering on the defamatory.

Prince Charles joined them for the performance to help them make a final choice of music for their great day.

Quote
He revealed that Prince Charles had advised the couple on their choice of music.

He explained: "He has always taken a close interest in classical and church music. They have sought his advice and involved him in the decisions

IF this story is true, then I think that because PC is partly paying for the wedding then he is determined to have his way.  My personal thoughts are that if William had the wedding he wanted then given his aversion to big occasions and the press I believe he would have preferred the wedding at Windsor.

OMG! who criticize Kate for the colour of her hair? if she is brunette, good on her.I am too even i like to change my hair a lot and i am red hair right now i soon i will be blond  :teehee:
On that i think people are really not so nice,i criticize her for her behaviour most of it specially when i didn't like her sign on some pictures show on Monday or the fact that don't be touch by a lady.
Also i saw she was critize for some lights she put herself, well i didn't critize her because i also do it myself.I think for my part i only do what i see i don't do it  or because is not what i was educated.
